Accurso was born on February 26^th, 1979, in Denver, Colorado.

Aside from his date of birth, little is known of Accurso or his childhood, including whether or not he has siblings.

Accurso studied Music Theory/Composition at Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

Since then, Aron has worked on numerous Broadway productions, including Sister Act, Aladdin, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Billy Elliot, and The Little Mermaid.

He continues to be the musical director for Aladdin at the time of writing.
