Cooke Maroney Net Worth – $25 million
What is Cooke Maroney’s net worth? Who is Cooke Maroney’s wife?
Introduction
Cooke Maroney is an NYC-based art director for Gladstone 64, an Upper East Side contemporary art gallery nestled in the Edward Durell Stone House.
The gallery has displayed the works of Carroll Dunham, Matthew Barney (also known as Bjork’s ex-partner), and Victor Man, and is considered one of the most elite contemporary art houses in the US.
Maroney has also worked at New York’s Gagosian, which has housed work by artists like Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Jackson Pollock.
When he’s not curating works of art for one of Manhattan’s most esteemed art galleries, Cooke Maroney is well-known for another reason entirely: marrying an Oscar-winning actress.
The Origin Story
Cooke Maroney was born on July 3, 1984, in Middlebury, Vermont.
He is James and Suki (nee Fredericks) Maroney’s eldest child, and he was followed by a sister named Annabelle.
Initially, the Maroney family called Manhattan home, as James Maroney was working as an art dealer.
He also worked as Head of American Paintings at Christie’s auction house, before throwing it in and whisking his family back to Vermont—and the simple life.
The family settled at Leicester, Vermont, on a 775-acre property called Oliver Hill Farm.
Here, Cooke and his baby sister would learn about sustainable living and hard work—the farm had 125 dairy cows and six farmhands.
Cooke attended high school in nearby Middlebury, and headed back to New York to study art history at New York University.
Throughout his career, Maroney has caught the eye of the media—both as part of the art world’s party set, and as a fount of art knowledge.
He has demonstrated how far ahead of the curve he is as a gallerist, sharing back in 2015 that internet-savvy art collectors want their art accessible online—and that galleries needed to be willing to provide that kind of service.

The Romance Period
In May of 2018, Jennifer Lawrence was introduced to the art gallery director by her best friend, Laura Simpson.
Lawrence, who was already a huge name in her own right, was eager to keep the relationship private for as long as possible, to allow the pair some time to grow and see where things were headed.
They are often credited with avoiding the mainstream paparazzi radar for so long, and were very rarely spotted out in public.
One of the first instances, early on in June 2018, was the last the couple would be snapped together until after their engagement was confirmed in early 2019.
On October 19, 2019, the pair married in an ultra-private ceremony at Belcourt of Newport.
Belcourt—a luxury mansion in Newport, Rhode Island that was designed over 120 years ago by Richard Morris Hunt—kept prying eyes to a minimum thanks to its high walls and solid security.
The star-studded wedding celebration saw the likes of Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, and Sienna Miller in attendance.
Prior to tying the knot, Lawrence hailed Maroney as “the greatest person I’ve ever met.” She also told ET in October 2020: ”I’m married and I have slumber parties like once a week.”
“We wanted to marry each other,” Lawrence said for Elle in June 2019. ”We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing.”
Children
In September 2021, Lawrence announced that she was expecting her first child with Cooke.
Jennifer Lawrence gave birth to their son, Cy, in February 2022.
