What is Mike Rashid’s net worth?
Mike Rashid has a net worth of $3 million. He is a double Golden Gloves winner, a bodybuilder, an author, an entrepreneur, and the creator of the Alpha Shred Challenge.
But for Rashid, life’s not all about the shred—it’s about being a good man, taking care of business, and holding it down for your family.
Here’s what we know about the California native and CEO of Interstellar Media, Ambrosia Nutraceuticals, and Alpha Academy Apparel.
The Origin Story
Michael Rashid was born on 14th March 1979, in Brooklyn, New York.
He and his brothers knew the value of hard work and self-sufficiency from an early age, and their dad would often have them out chopping wood, hiking, doing hill sprints, and swimming.
Physical activity was a core part of Mike’s childhood—to the point where he entered his first boxing match at the young age of 12.
As a teenager, Mike was well and truly bitten by the competitive sports bug and committed to becoming a professional boxer.
In very little time—but with the dedication to training and pushing himself further—he was moving through the ranks. He won two national Golden Gloves titles.
Rashid’s late 20s were a time of transition for the young fitness fanatic, and he eventually moved in a new direction—becoming a WBFF Pro bodybuilder and starting his own fitness channel on YouTube.
The majority of Mike’s early videos focused on fitness and training techniques, as well as sharing insight into muscle development and trends within the industry.
Later, he’d branch out into mindfulness, entrepreneurship, and even spirituality.
Mike Rashid attended Arizona State University and Glendale Community College and still keeps a house in Chandler, Arizona.
He lives in Miami Beach, Florida, for most of the year.
Rashid has been married before, and he’s got three children with his now-ex-wife—a son and two daughters.
Girlfriend
Mike Rashid’s now dating fellow competitive fitness enthusiast Narmin Assria.
Role Models
Rashid talks very little about his mother but has spoken openly and enthusiastically about his main inspiration in life: his father.
He describes his dad as a man’s man—honest, hardworking, strong, and gentle.
Mike also credits his father for helping him build such a strong foundation for his fitness and business journey.
Manny taught the young Mike the importance of a firm handshake, keeping your word, and treating others with respect.
“I learned to be strong mentally because of him. He’s unbreakable. I know how to survive because I have the best teacher.”
In 2019, Manny Rashid had open heart surgery and recovered surprisingly fast—something his son credits to his mental resilience and self-discipline.
Gettin’ Them Gains
In addition to his national Golden Gloves achievements, Rashid set his mind to becoming a bodybuilder.
From 2012 to 2014, he competed as a bodybuilder, then branched out into powerlifting.
In August of 2015, he competed at the invite-only Boss of Bosses—and won the 220 lbs division.
Some of his other achievements have included:
- 1st place: 2010 NPC Michigan Natural Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure and Bikini Championships (Flint)
- 7th place: 2013 WPFF Worlds (Las Vegas)
- 6th place: 2011 EPFNB Michigan Challenge (Grand Rapids)
- 7th place: 2011 NPC Michigan Bodybuilding & Physique Championships (Grand Rapids)
- 2nd place: 2008 NGA Great Lakes Natural Championships (Detroit)
- Deadlift record: 635 lbs
- Squat record: 585 lbs
- Bench Press record: 475 lbs
Strictly Business
In 2013, Rashid launched his own supplement company, aptly named IMSOALPHA.com.
Within 2 years, and with no marketing other than social media and word of mouth, the company was worth millions.
A year after the creation of IMSOALPHA, Rashid moved into fitness apparel, launching The Alpha Academy.
The original brand had achieved more than a million dollars in sales within 12 months.
Not content with two ultra-successful companies to his name, Rashid launched Interstellar Media with Matt “Marz” Marzulo in 2015.

Mindfulness
With so much going on in his life, what’s a guy to do to relax?
Meditate.
Rashid hits the sauna to detoxify his body and meditates to lower his stress levels and clear his mind.
He’s also quick to point out that meditation isn’t just about the mind—it’s better for your muscle, too. This is because less stress equals less cortisol, and cortisol can eat away at muscle mass.
