Morgan Simianer Net Worth – $1 million
What is Morgan Simianer’s net worth? Who is Morgan Simianer’s husband?
Introduction
There was something strangely addictive about the Netflix docuseries, Cheer.
The show follows the lives and careers of a group of college cheerleaders trying to win big at Corsicana, Texas’ Navarro College.
For those of us who are not a part of the elite cheerleading scene, that’s a pretty big deal. Navarro College, and its long-held rivalry with fellow college Trinity Valley Community College, is almost an urban legend.
It is also home to some of the most successful Netflix docuseries cast members to ever grace our screens.
Cheer shines a spotlight on the effervescent La’Darius Marshall, the incomparable outsider Lexi, and the always Over The Top Jerry Harris (spoiler alert: Jerry landed himself in prison in 2022).
Even Coach Monica gained a cult following for her unending ambition, relentless support of her team, and her bond with each of the kids.
Then we have Morgan Simianer—she of the mysterious past, hard upbringing, and strange habits.
Like, did you know she once confessed that she doesn’t wake up until 4 in the afternoon?
But don’t worry—according to Vogue, her “morning” routine is just as boring as yours despite all that extra sleeping-in time.
Here’s what you might want to know about Morgan Simianer now that Cheer is no longer available for binge-watching goodness.
The Origin Story
Morgan Lynn Simianer was born on October 9, 1997, in Osage, Wyoming.
Morgan’s parents split up when she was young. While little is known about her mother—who abandoned her family not long after Morgan and her brother came along—her father stayed to raise them.
For a while, at least.
At some point, he left both his kids in a trailer and moved in with his second wife and her children.
Wyatt—Morgan’s brother—left to look for their mom when he turned 18, leaving Morgan there alone.
Eventually, Morgan’s grandparents found out how she was living now that her mother, father, and brother had all left her.
They took her home with them, and she completed her schooling from there.
The move paid off for the young Morgan in more ways than one—she eventually earned a scholarship to Navarro College, giving herself the opportunity to fulfill her dreams.
While she was at Navarro College, she studied sociology—and scored a place in the spotlight for the new Netflix doco, Cheer.
Boyfriend
Back at the start of 2021, Morgan—who was already well established on the Netflix hit show—began dating someone new.
She had already broken up with Big Brother reality television star Jackson Michie, whom she was linked to throughout 2020 and 2021.
Husband
Morgan Simianer’s new beau, Stone Burleson, confessed to anyone who would listen in 2022 that he knew straight away that Simianer was the one for him.
“After our first date, I knew I wanted to be with Morgan […] forever.”
During a visit to Dallas, Texas, Burleson popped the question at the HALL Arts Hotel, with a custom, Neil Lane, 2 and ¾ carat diamond, 18-carat gold ring.
The proposal, which took place on the rooftop of the hotel and came complete with a camera crew, came as a surprise to Simianer.
Following the proposal, the pair celebrated with friends and family.
In May 2023, Morgan Simianer married Stone Burleson in Hickory Creek, Texas, in front of 275 guests.

Life after Cheer
Things were a little rocky for Simianer after that massive first season on Cheer.
Morgan returned to Navarro College for the show’s second season, until a pandemic and some serious political unrest lead to the cancellation of the NCA Collegiate Cheer Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida.
That competition is the reason the Navarro cheer squad worked so hard all year.
The show’s producers made the executive decision to stop filming until the show could be back up and running at full capacity—which meant that Morgan had already graduated and left Navarro.
This meant a drastically shortened length of time on camera, and Morgan cutting her cheering career short earlier than anticipated.
The reality television star is now living in Texas with her fiance and her cat, Louis Boo.
At the start of 2022, she shared footage of herself on Instagram alongside Navarro assistant coach, Dustin Hatersoff.
She teased her followers with the caption, “Coming out of retirement never felt this good.”
