Is Billie Eilish Vegan or Vegetarian?

Billie Eilish said she’s been vegan since 2014. At the time, she was 12 years old. Eilish went vegan after learning about the meat and dairy industries.

“Once you know about that kind of thing and you see it it’s really hard to go back,” Billie said in an interview with Vogue. “And, even now, while I have many friends that eat dairy and meat and I don’t want to tell anybody what to do, I just can’t go on in my life knowing what’s going on in the animal world and not doing anything about it.”

“I went vegan like four years ago,” she wrote in a 2018 Tumblr post. “There were a lot of reasons. I love animals, and I just think there’s no point in creating something out of an animal when the animal is already there. Leave animals alone.”
