In The Battery’s Down, Grande played a small role credited as “Bat Mitzvah Riffer” in the episode Bad Bad News, which aired in 2009.
Her appearance was brief and included Grande riffing at a bat mitzvah. This appearance actually marked her on-screen debut.
#13 Family Guy
In Family Guy, she made a cameo in episode 12 (Mom’s the Word) and provided the voice of one of the Italian next-door neighbors.

In 2016, Grande portrayed Penny Pingleton in Hairspray Live!, a musical adaptation that was produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan.
It was Grande who reached out to the production team about the part. “We did not contact Ariana or her representatives; she contacted us, and we were overwhelmed and thrilled and pinching ourselves,” Craig Zadan told ET in 2016.
