Jeff Bridges leads the cast alongside Lewis Pullman, Nick Offerman, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, and Chris Hemsworth. LA Times wrote that Cynthia’s performance was “revelatory in the most rewarding sense.”
Erivo sings live (without pre-recorded tracks) in the movie.
“I didn’t want [Erivo] to lip-sync and when you see the film you’ll understand why,” writer and director Drew Goddard said.

The pair were each nominated for Academy Awards for their work in Wicked.
