Prior to graduating, he was hired by XYZ Clothing as the Marketing Director, where he overlooked all of the marketing operations. This role lasted between 1998-2001.

Just before leaving this role, he was hired with Osiris Shoes as the Chief Marketing Officer. This was his most tenured role lasting between 2000-2017.

By this point, he had become a master of Marketing. His responsibilities were relatively broad, gaining him experience in planning, developing, and implementing all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both externally and internally.

He also oversaw the development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in marketing, communications, and social media.

In 2005, he was one of the founding partners of Throwdown Industries, Inc, an American combat sports brand and functional fitness equipment supplier.

The brand grew to become the best MMA, boxing, and fitness brand on the market for seasoned athletes. When the store was up and running, he acquired the title “VP/Founding Partner.” The role lasted a short time, and he left in April 2006.

With all this experience, he became increasingly well-known as a master of marketing in the sports niche, so his roles were much more prestigious.

As such, in April 2018, Molenkamp was hired as the Executive Vice President of Sports and Marketing for cbdMD. The American company specializes in producing and selling premium CBD oil for the general public, athletes, and pets.

Triumph United

While his experience looks impressive up to this point, there are a lot more remarkable accomplishments he achieved.

In 2007, he founded Triumph United, located in Oceanside, California. According to the company website, it specializes in Apparel and Equipment designed for niche sports, including Muay Thai Kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Boxing.

The company has grown to become a leader in original & functional training equipment & apparel and is well known and preferred in the sports fighting industry.

Molenkamp is the sitting CEO and collaborates with many other prominent brands in the industry.

Molenkamp is a very determined businessman and continues to strive for more, despite what he already has going on his roaster.

Crimson Tactical

In August 2020, he founded the company Crimson Tactical.

The online store specializes in selling a wide selection of pocket knives, fixed blades, and automatic knives from premier brands like Heretic, Spyderco, Microtech, and Bastinelli.

He oversees and runs the daily operations. It also appears he manages the layout of the company sales website.

Monster Energy

Aside from his many business ventures, he also gives speeches and has been the spokesperson for sports brands.

In 2011, he was contacted by the prestigious sports drink company Monster Energy to offer him a position.

To no surprise, he took them up on their offer, and to this day, he overlooks the combat sports division for Monster Energy which is one of the main sponsors of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

This career opportunity made sense, and he was the perfect fit for the role considering a few of his companies already design and create products that are explicitly catered to UFC and MMA fighters.

As a part of his role with Monster Energy, he is in charge of deciding which fighters get sponsored by the brand and which ones do not. Therefore, he spends a lot of this time studying the fighters, and he needs to be on top of trends as well as how fans perceive them.

Essentially, he is in charge of analyzing the brand of each fighter and how well they’re marketed. This plays a significant role in how he determines who to sponsor.

As a result of his career, which is centered around extreme sports, he has grown in popularity.

He is now associated with some of the world’s best fighters, including Jorge Masvidal, Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, and Daniel Cormier, among many others.

When it comes to selling apparel for his companies, he developed the first direct-to-canvas prints.

Basically, he decided to print logos on square panels and then have them sewn onto a separate canvas.

He separates the canvas into three parts and prints them directly on the canvas, and stitches them together.

Most of the photos he uses are taken directly from him, and he uses them for apparel imagery and logos.
