Blondedy Ferdinand was born on March 13, 1983, at the Chanterelles Hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in the Carrefour-Feuilles district.
From an early age, she knew her destiny was to become a singer and performer.
She recalls being captivated by the beauty of music, and every chance she had, she would be singing and practicing.
Her mother became aware of her passion but decided against it and prevented her from further working toward it.
Rather than neglecting her creative talent, she redirected it to the theater and began trying out for school plays.
Blondedy participated in the school drama class regularly, and in 1991 when she was eight years old, she was cast in her first play. Being a part of this play was a pivotal point in her stage-acting career and further developed her passion.

In 1998, at the young age of 15, her career grew beyond the school stage.
Blondedy met casting director Vladimir Thelisma who offered her a role in the movie “Psychopath.” She accepted the role, but unfortunately, it was not played in theaters.
After graduating college, she focused most of her time on succeeding in the movie industry.
In 2002, she auditioned to play the part of Linda in the movie “I love You, Anne.” She got the part, and from here, her career as a Haitian actress was officially solidified.
Blondedy continued to audition for roles and was soon cast as a supporting actress in the independent Haitian movie “Choix Final.”

In 2018, she was cast as the person of Esther in the film “God’s Will.” As a symbol of her success, she starred as herself in the movie “The Real Life of Blondedy Ferdinand.”
