Jeff Cavaliere is an American celebrity trainer best known for his YouTube channel ATHLEAN-X. He also served as both the Head Physical Therapist and Assistant Strength Coach for the New York Mets.
Cavaliere was born on June 28, 1975, in Connecticut, USA.
Growing up he was a big fan of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and “Ravishing” Rick Rude. ”It was hard not to watch these guys and wonder to myself as I’d look down at my chest absent of any size and definition, or barely visible one-pack abs and say ‘How the heck did these guys get to look like this?!?,’” he said.
In 1977, Jeff earned his bachelor of applied science degree in physioneurobiology (pre-medicine studies) from the University of Connecticut.
Cavaliere earned a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut.
In 2004, Jeff became a contributing writer to Men’s Fitness Magazine.
On December 16, 2006, he started the YouTube channel ATHLEAN-X. The channel has over 10.9 million subscribers.
From 2006 to 2009, Cavaliere served as the assistant strength coach and head physical therapist for the New York Mets.
In addition, Jeff was the personal trainer of David Wright, a former professional baseball third baseman who played his entire 14-year MLB career for the New York Mets.
After leaving the New York Mets, he created ATHLEAN-X, his own training program.

Jeff Cavaliere got married in 2008. ”In the winter prior to my 2008 season I got married and bought a house, and finally the pull of ‘home’ and getting a chance to spend a summer day with my family,” Cavaliere explained.
