Simon Whistler Net Worth – $4 million

What is Simon Whistler’s net worth? Is Simon Whistler married?

Introduction

Simon Whistler is an English YouTuber who is recognized for running various educational YouTube channels.

He is also a successful podcaster and blogger.

The Origin Story

Simon Whistler was born on May 15, 1987, in the United Kingdom.

There is not much publicly available information about his childhood aside from his love and passion for performative arts, which is something he talks about frequently on his channels.

Whistler grew up drawn to the theatre, so he spent a lot of his youth days practicing in the school and local theater groups.

He did so well that his high school granted him a theatre scholarship.

As many aspiring entertainers do, he took to YouTube to pursue a career in some form of entertainment. And on February 3rd, 2010, his first YuuTube page went live. “TopTenz.”

The channel is centered around entertaining and educational content with top 10 lists from the talented writers at Toptenz.net.

This was his first of multiple channels.

Today I Found Out

Following the success of this, Simon created his second informative YouTube channel that goes by the name “Today I Found Out.”

This channel, although an educational one like Whistler’s first channel, is a lot more laidback in its approach and is centered around covering individual topics in much greater detail.

The channel has done very well and even outperformed TopTenz with respect to its following count and viewer engagement.

This channel is Whistler’s greatest success yet with respect to how well it performs.

VisualPolitik EN

But having two channels was nowhere near the end of the road for Whistler. In fact, he had plans to create a multi-channel brand. And he did just that.

On January 22, 2017, Whistler created “VisualPolitik EN,” his third channel, which is also educational in its contextual nature.

The content is solely dedicated to reviewing and covering social, political, and economic topics and events that happen across the globe.

Since these are inherently popular topics, the channel has grown substantially large and has proven to be another great success for Whistler.

And because that was not enough for his already growing social media empire.

On May 12, 2017, Whistler created two more channels, bringing his total up to four, which essentially created an entire media network.

“Biographics” went live on May 12, 2017, and according to its about page, the channel publishes and uploads three videos per week.

The informative channel is centered around providing biographic profiles of the men and women who helped write the pages of human history, whether it was for better or for worse.

It also investigates the lives of many reputable and notorious people throughout history. The channel was co-founded by Whistler and his friend, Shell Harris, as a chapter of TopTenzNet.

Geographics

Geographics is the fourth channel that was created and went live on the same day as its sister channel, May 12, 2017.

It’s one of the least successful thus far, with less than 1 million subscribers, but it is still successful, nonetheless.

According to its website, the channel investigates various geographical locations of interest throughout history and any famous or historical events that happened there.

Highlight History

And yet another channel was born on September 18, 2018, even further expanding his empire.

“Highlight History” covers interesting historical topics around the world, so it is very similar in nature to his Geographics channel.

And On May 31, 2019, Whistler added another channel. “Brain Blaze” is another history and political channel but with a comedic tone to it.

It covers historical topics, current events, and everything in between.

There are also satirical educational videos on communism which are meant to educate its viewers on the unattractive outcomes it can bring about to a country.

Whistler’s approach is fun and entertaining and uses a laid-back tone to attract the attention of his viewers.

Megaprojects

And to his viewer’s surprise, he surprised them with another educational channel.

On March 25, 2020, Whistler created the channel “ Megaprojects.”

The channel discusses various topics that he could not adequately cover on all his other channels.

Essentially, the channel discusses”humanity’s greatest achievements” and contributions to the world. This includes the history and engineering of buildings, aircrafts, ships, and nuclear reactors.

Sideprojects

And last but not least, “Sideprojects” went live on August 21, 2020.

The channel reviews and discusses various topics that are somewhat in line with the Megaprojects channel but distinct enough that it would constitute creating a new channel.

It’s safe to say Whistler is a teacher and entertainer by heart.

He has nearly singlehandedly created an educational media network and has succeeded in every avenue he took.

Wife

Simon Whistler is married, however, he didn’t disclose other details about his wife.
