Chelcie Lynn was born on August 9, 1987, in Oklahoma.

She has two younger sisters—Beth and Maggie, and maintains a very close relationship with both of them.

The trio grew up with their grandmother, and were known to stick together. Note – she grew up in Oklahoma near the Texas border.

As adults, the three siblings remain inseparable, and despite their own lives and obligations—Beth, Maggie, and Chelcie are all married with families of their own—Chelcie often sings their praises on her social media accounts.

When wishing Beth (whose surname is now Franks) a happy birthday, she reminisces in her typical big sisterly fashion:

“I remember the day you were born and […] I got to hold you for the first time.”

Chelcie had a good childhood, thanks to her grandmother and sisters—but life wasn’t always easy.

The family lost their mom when she was still quite young, and their father—who had struggled with substance abuse issues—remarried after going through rehab.

It was going through hard times that helped Chelcie develop her own unique brand of humor.

Resilient and positive, the bold young woman worked hard to provide for her family—and headed off to college just after she turned 18.

Who is Chelcie Lynn’s husband?

It was while Chelcie Lynn was in college in 2005 that she met her husband, Greg Melton. Back then, Facebook was only for college kids. Greg Melton, a young college football player from a school two hours from Chelcie’s, popped up in her suggestions.

Chelcie explained, “I saw this boy, in this football uniform, my heart started palpitating.”

She sent him a friend request, and he accepted.

His first message to the young blonde was a pick-up line—a pretty cheesy one, by Greg’s own admission: “I like your eyes.”

The pair continued to talk via Facebook, gradually getting to know each other.

She described the relationship early on as conversations that “shaped a healthy relationship.”

The pair bonded over hobbies, college life, and their families.

The two made things official in May of 2010, tying the knot in a low-key celebration with family and close friends.

They celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in 2022.

The pair have two dogs together.
