Little is known of Hogle’s early life.

She was born to a wealthy family in San Diego, CA, and was raised alongside her brother Weston.

Her father played golf his entire life. “My dad has played golf his entire life, so I grew up around it, but I never played or pursued it,” she revealed.

She attended Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, graduating in 2017.

During her time at Rancho Bernardo, Claire discovered her passion for golfing.

Hogle quickly established herself as a golfing prodigy.

She was part of the girls’ golfing team that became Valley League champions from 2015-2016. The girls became California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) champions for the first time in the school’s history.

Hogle was on impressive form, going undefeated for a whopping 55 matches through her graduating year.

Upon graduation, Hogle accepted a place at CSU San Marcos, where she quickly established herself as a golfing powerhouse.

As a freshman (2017-2018 season), she had 4 top 10 finishes and 3 top 5 finishes, and was a member of the girls’ golfing team that took home CSUSM’s first ever CCAA title.

Hogle went from strength to strength during her college career.

Her sophomore year (2018-2019) saw her finish 27th overall in Division II of the NCAA Women’s Golfers, and she managed an impressive 6 top 5 finishes.

She also took second place at the West Texas A&M Desert Invite, and tied for second at the Holy Names Mikuni Sushi Shootout.

The end of Hogle’s college golfing career was somewhat muted; she played much less in her junior year (2019-2020), attending only 6 competitions.

Despite this, she still managed 2 top 5 finishes.

Due to recent global events, she was unable to play at all in her senior year (2020-2021).
