What Is Dr. Eric Berg’s Net Worth?

Dr. Eric Berg is an American chiropractor, author, podcaster, and YouTuber who has a net worth of $10 million. He is best known for uploading weight loss, intermittent fasting, and keto diet videos on his YouTube channel.

He has a wealth of information on the keto diet and how it can help you lose weight and feel better.

In 1998, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Note – chiropractic is usually categorized as a complementary medicine and alternative medicine. Chiropractic is mainly used as a pain relief alternative for bones, joints, muscles, and connective tissue, such as tendons, ligaments, and cartilage.

Eric also studied at the University of Wisconsin Parkside and worked as an X-ray technician for the Army Reserves.

Dr. Berg has taught students nutrition as an adjunct professor at Howard University.

He is a licensed chiropractor in Virginia, California, and Louisiana, however, Dr. Berg no longer practices chiropractic and does not see patients.

Dr. Berg started his YouTube channel on November 23, 2008.

The channel has over 2 billion views and more than 10.06 million subscribers.

Keto Diet

He is an advocate of the keto diet, a very-low-carb, high-fat diet.

Usually, the keto diet uses the following macronutrient ratios:

  • 5 percent or less of calories from carbs  – for the majority of people, that is at most 30 to 50 g of net carbs a day;
  • 70 to 80 percent of calories from fats, like – grass-fed butter, coconut oil, olive oil, walnuts, avocados;
  • 20 to 30 percent of calories from protein.

Eric developed a unique keto diet program that helps people to lose weight.

During an interview, Eric said about his program:

”My latest Keto program and diet strategies have been designed to change that.”

Dr. Berg went on to say:

”I have developed this plan using a combination of intermittent fasting, low carb diet tips, and unique Ketogenic diet strategies to give my clients better control over their bodies in today’s fast-paced life.”

He also said:

”The diet is easy to follow and can be adapted to any kind of lifestyle as well as food preference such as vegans and vegetarians.”

Dr. Berg also advocates for intermittent fasting, an eating style where you eat within a specific time period and fast the rest of the time.

He recommends waiting at least 4 hours before eating your first meal of the day. The rest of your meals should be within an eight-hour window, and don’t eat anything until the next morning.

Promoters of intermittent fasting say that you can expect the following benefits:

  • makes cells more resilient;
  • boosts brain function;
  • improves memory;
  • boosts weight loss;
  • protects against neurodegenerative diseases;
  • promotes longevity;
  • increases energy;
  • lowers bad (LDL) cholesterol;
  • protects against type 2 diabetes mellitus;
  • promotes cellular repair and autophagy.

The adrenals are two endocrine glands that sit on top of the kidneys and produce a few hormones.

In his teachings, videos, and books, Dr. Berg often mentions ‘adrenal fatigue,’ a term applied to a collection of nonspecific symptoms, such as digestive problems, sleep disturbances, nervousness, fatigue, and body aches.

The problem is that the term “adrenal fatigue” is not recognized by any endocrinology society.

For instance, according to a 2016 review of 58 studies, there is no scientific basis to associate adrenal impairment as a cause of fatigue.

In 2007, he was fined and reprimanded by the Virginia Board of Medicine for:

“…bogus muscle tests that supposedly are related to body organs.”

Yes when you believe in Christ you stay clear of things that are not of Christ. So now knowing this I too will be not buying anymore of his products because I do not support Scientology. So no matter how anyone responds to this if you buy his products now knowing this you are using your money to support what he supports. I am not okay w that. It's unfortunate I liked his products but I'll be just fine searching for them elsewhere. Jesus Christ is King every knee shall bow and confess this truth. Make sure your on the right side when it comess to this day! Repent and come to Christ we are not promised tomorrow and Jesus is the way truth and life no one comes to the Father but by belief in Him.

I am 76 years old and appreciate this guy for his ability to help others without professing anything but good health. I'm not a scientology fan, but so what? His son will grow up someday...(kids need time). I have listened to his you tube for years. He is very generous with his knowledge which is appreciated by most. I think he and his wife are terrific. I am not ungrateful. He deserves his rewards. He worked had for them. Two thumbs up Dr. Berg. More thumbs if I had them. The world is a better place because of you. Those who do not see goodness for what it is...pssh wah...I hope you make double what you have so far. All you jealous people, go try to do something useful. I love success.

Honestly, who knows what our own medical doctors believe in or practice in their personal time.

I have heard nothing but good about Dr. Berg. Chiropractors are great healers when you have a good, competent one. However, just as with regular physicians, they, too, can make mistakes. Correct them and move on. I have no idea what I will do when the one I have decides to retire! To each one's own on who they decide to live life.
