Is Duke from Zombie House Flipping married?
Introduction
If there’s one show format guaranteed to bring in the viewers, it’s a property show.
Property shows have proved consistently popular for decades, and as the property market heats up and people begin looking for more and more ways of investing and making money, house-flipping shows are on the up.
When talking about property shows, specifically house flipping shows, Zombie House Flipping is one that has proved to be especially popular since its inception, thanks largely to the collection of characters featured on the show.
One of the show’s most popular characters, and one who was there since day one, was Peter Duke, or simply ‘Duke’ as he was commonly known.
When Duke was missing for later seasons of the show, people started to ask questions and wonder what was going on.
Was he sick?
Had he been fired?
Was he trying to start a family, and if so, was he married? Well, that’s what we want to look at today.
So, what happened to Peter Duke, and is Duke from Zombie House Flipping married? The answer may surprise you.
What is House Flipping?
Before we can learn about Duke, his personal life, and the show that made him famous, we first need to look at the concept of house flipping.
Once you understand what house flipping is and how it works, you’ll appreciate Zombie House Flipping that little bit more.
Because there is so much money to be made in property, more and more people choose to invest their money in property in the hopes of turning a very tidy profit.
House flipping is basically the process of buying a property for as cheap as you can, increasing its value by as much as you can, and then selling it for a profit.
People will buy houses, renovate them, redecorate them, spruce up the garden, fit a new kitchen and bathroom, and generally improve it for as little as they can before re-listing the house for a much higher price as it should now be worth more.
What is Zombie House Flipping?
We’ll look at whether Duke from Zombie House Flipping married a little later on. First, though, we’re going to look at the show that made him a star in the first place.
In the real estate market, realtors use a whole bunch of terms that those familiar with property will know immediately. One such term is ‘Zombie House’.
Is a zombie house some haunted horror infested with the living dead who are obsessed with eating your brains?
Will Rick Grimes and Darryl Dixon show up to save the day?
Well, don’t worry; it’s nothing quite as horrifying or dramatic as that, though that would make an awesome TV show.
In actual fact, a zombie house is typically a small home that is deteriorated and vacant, where the owners can no longer afford to pay their mortgages.
The banks do not yet own or have sold the property, rendering it vacant. It is still there but is essentially dead, just like a zombie, if zombies existed.
Zombie House Flipping is a TV show that has been running since 2016 and focuses on a variety of house flippers who buy recently foreclosed and usually vacant and abandoned “zombie homes” before renovating them, returning them to their former glory, and putting them back on the market.
Zombie House Flipping followed a number of house flippers, including Duke, who would search for zombie homes and do their best to renovate them, increase their value, and then sell them on for a profit.
The show became an instant hit when it debuted in 2016, largely because viewers couldn’t believe the condition that some of these homes were left in.
Characters would regularly experience all kinds of dramas, dangers, and issues when renovating the homes, including falling through holes in the floor and the roof, flooding the property, and plenty more besides.
Some of the most popular characters on the show include Ashlee Casserly, Dolmar, Justin Stamper, and, of course, Duke or Peter Duke.
Is Duke from Zombie House Flipping married?
One thing you’ll find on Zombie House Flipping is the fact that as interesting as the property and renovation side of things is, it’s the cast members who have brought in the viewers.
Even though the show features house flipping quite heavily, it also features plenty of personal life drama between the cast. Ashlee Casserly, for example, is one of the show’s most popular characters, as is Justin Stamper, whom she is married to.
Both Justin and Ashlee have been married for many years, and they have two children together. Their on-screen dynamic really helps to set the tone and add some drama to the show.
Another cast member whom people often ask about is Duke. People wonder what happened to Duke in season 4 and whether or not he is married. So, is Duke from Zombie House Flipping married? Well, the answer is yes.
Peter Duke was featured on the Orlando, Florida, zombie house flipping team and was a Zombie House Flipping OG who was there from the start. Because of this, he had a lot of fans, yet not a great deal of his personal life was shown. But is Duke from Zombie House Flipping married? If so, who to?
