An Unintentional Career

The pair had been close friends for a long time, having both grown up in Vernon Hills.

Following her split from Shawn Nelson, who regularly appeared on her Instagram account while they were dating, Natalie Noel was snapped up by social media star Toddy Smith.
Smith climbed to social media stardom on Vine, before transitioning to YouTube—where he has more than a million subscribers. The California native dated Corinna Kopf and Olivia O’Brien before he met Noel.
Fans speculated for a long time about whether Smith and Noel were dating, as Smith was often seen on camera flirting with the curvaceous TikToker.
He wrote notes to her like, “I feel like I ruined my shot w u lol” and “U break my heart.”
Then, in February 2020 David Dobrik posted a video in which viewers can clearly see Toddy sneaking out of Noel’s room early in the morning, while Natalie can be heard off-camera saying, “Go, go, go!”
Not long after that, Toddy posted a video to YouTube of a song he’d written.
The song was called Natalina, and it is available on Spotify. Smith eventually uploaded the official music video to YouTube, which has amassed more than 6 million views.
