The pair met each other at a trade show that was run by Shawn’s parents’ rodeo company.
They hit it off straight away, talking and laughing throughout Amber’s autograph-signing stint at the show.
The pair shared a passion for horses and enough common interests to keep the conversation—and laughter—flowing.
“Shawn was helping out with the signing,” explained Marshall. “I asked him for a ride back, and then it kind of went from there.”

The couple joked in an interview with Hello magazine back in 2015 that there was never any hesitation about having the wedding at home.
