Jeremy Jauncey Net Worth – $1.5 million
The man behind the uber-popular Beautiful Destinations Instagram account—which has amassed a following of more than 25.9 million—is a young entrepreneur by the name of Jeremy Jauncey.
The epitome of a millennial spirit, Jauncey also runs a YouTube channel, a creative agency, and works as a Global Ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund.
But it turns out there’s still more to discover about the one-time model and rugby player.
The Origin Story
Jeremy Jauncey was born in Venezuela in 1986 to a Scottish dad and a Colombian mom.
His parents packed up and headed to Edinburgh, Scotland, where Jeremy’s younger brother Thomas was born.
His parents remain in Edinburgh. Jeremy and his kid brother most definitely do not—traveling the world almost incessantly over the past decade.
Initially, Jauncey got his taste of travel as a rugby player.
After graduating from Glenalmond College in Perth—less than an hour by train from his hometown—he represented Scotland at rugby.
Rugby took him as far afield as Australia and New Zealand before he sustained an ankle injury that ended his dreams of being a professional rugby player.
Instead, Jauncey made the move into eCommerce for a large US company and partnered with exclusive brands like American Express, Mastercard, and Hilton.
By 2012, though, Jeremy had set his sights on what had once been a hobby for the young traveler—taking amateur photos of his holiday spots and sharing them on social media.
Beautiful Destinations
Jeremy founded his brand—Beautiful Destinations—almost by accident.
He, like most millennials, was sharing travel pics with his friends and family on Instagram.
The pics inspired interest from fellow ‘grammers, and Jauncey’s following grew exponentially.
As in: he had his first million followers within a year, and that number had hit 13 million by the end of 2020.
Jauncey describes his brainchild as “a bunch” of passionate travelers sharing their experiences around the world. His goal is to inspire others to travel, to see the beauty of the places they’ve been, and to tell the stories of the cultures they’ve met.
The business has grown from just Jeremy and his brother Tom to almost 30 full-time employees in 2021.
The team includes content creators, photographers, tech advisors, marketing minds, and analysts, and they work with some of the biggest brands in the world.
Beautiful Destinations showcases Jauncey’s years of extensive travel. He’s explored every continent in the world except one—Antarctica.
As an ambassador for the WWF—no, not the wrestling one, the wildlife one—Jauncey is aware of the impact humans are having on the planet and the fact that he may need to get there quickly if he wants to see what the beauty of Antarctica has to offer.
Jauncey says: “I’m a passionate supporter of sustainable tourism and the environment, so anywhere I can (…) raise awareness of climate-related issues is worth visiting.”
As well as being a global ambassador for the health of our planet, Jauncey is also a brand ambassador for Clinique, sharing his favorite beauty tips and favorite moisturizer (which is—spoiler alert—a Clinique best-seller).

An International Affair
In early 2020, Jeremy Jauncey went public with something other than his wide array of travel hot spots.
He and long-suspected-to-be-his girlfriend Pia Wurtzbach went public with their relationship—in Tatler magazine.
Pia Wurtzbach rose to fame as 2015’s Miss Universe in the year when Steve Harvey notoriously—and awkwardly—crowned the wrong contestant with the prestigious title.
Pia, as most of us know, was the real winner on the day (and if you didn’t know, you can check it out here).
Pia is also a campaigner for LGBT rights, a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador, a TV personality, and co-owner of a milk tea shop called BesTea.
The pair met in London, where they bonded over both of them being on the cover of Tatler, and discussed the Philippines, travel, and all the times they should have met at parties and events they’d both attended.
By the end of the night, Jauncey had talked the Filipina beauty into a dinner date.
Despite forming an instant bond, the pair agreed to take it slow—super-slow.
They dated long-term and long-distance, meeting up in London, Hong Kong, the US, and Indonesia—before they decided to let their followers and fans know.
”Her real life story is beyond inspiring,” Jeremy wrote on his Instagram in December 2021 about Wurtzbach.
Jeremy and Pia Wurtzbach engaged in May 2022.
In May 2023, Jeremy Jauncey married Pia Wurtzbach.
Jeremy and Pia celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Seychelles.
