After more than two decades as an attorney, Ricardo opened a private law practice in Illinois in 2017.
His practice specializes in family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, and delinquency. Ricardo named his firm the Lugo Law Office.
Ricardo is also on the board of the Spanish Action Committee of Chicago, a not-for-profit movement founded by Juan Diaz to focus attention on the needs and aspirations of the city’s Hispanic residents.
Lugo is also a member of the Puerto Rican Bar and serves on the Attorney Panel of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
He is a board member for Cabrini-Green Legal Aid, providing pro bono support to individuals dealing with the US justice system.
