So, how much is Ryan Corr worth?
As an Australian actor, Ryan Corr has accumulated most of his net worth as a result of the various roles he has held in TV and film throughout his impressive career to date.
He started his career in his teens, playing Matthew McDougal in the 2003 TV series The Sleepover Club. He was featured in 25 episodes of the series, which helped him make a name for himself from an early age.
The following year, Corr landed another long-standing role in the TV series Silversun, appearing in 26 episodes as Sheng Zammett.
The futuristic show is set in the year 2052 and tasks the lead characters with helping people on a ninety-year journey to a new planet to begin a new life there.
By 2006, Corr had landed his third recurring role in just three years, playing Eric in Blue Water High, another popular Australian TV show.
The show featured surfers who had been selected from different parts of Australia to study at a beachside school, and it followed the drama that naturally occurred from the clashing of egos.
Corr experienced his first taste of the big screen in 2009, playing a small role in the film Where the Wild Things Are. He followed it up with his portrayal of Max in Before the Rain, which premiered the following year in 2010.
The same year, Corr was back in action on the small screen, landing the role of Michael Kanaan in the short TV series Underbelly.
He also appeared in four episodes of Tangle as Isaac, which was released in the same year.
Given his young age at the release of Tangle, Corr’s credits to this date highlighted his versatility and talent as an actor and showed just how successful his career had been for someone so young.
One of his biggest gigs came when he landed the role of Coby Jennings in the TV series Packed to the Rafters, appearing in 62 episodes between 2009 and 2013.
The show followed the trials and tribulations of the Rafter family in Australia and became a hit with mainstream audiences throughout the country following its release.
After Packed to the Rafters, his next big roles came in Banished and Love Child, playing Johnny Lowry in two seasons of the latter.
He then starred in Neil Armfield’s romantic drama Holding the Man, alongside co-stars Craig Stot and Guy Pearce.
Speaking about Holding the Man, Corr said:
“I was at the same drama school as Tim actually ended up in, and when I was in the first year there, Holding the Man, the play was going on at the Griffin Theatre Company. But the effect of the book and realizing how far its reach was and how much it meant to so many people was really felt then.”
There’s no doubt that Corr and his co-stars do the book justice in what was a critically acclaimed and impressive performance of a much-loved story.
During the mid-2010s, he played multiple supporting roles in movies before returning to the small screen and appearing in eight episodes of The Commons, four episodes of Hungry Ghosts, and seven episodes of She Keeps the Bees.
And while Corr has enjoyed success on both the big and small screens, it’s arguably his roles on TV that he is best known for.
In 2021, it was announced that Corr would portray Ser Harwin Brekabones Strong in the eagerly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon.
Ryan Corr appeared in four episodes of the first season, which was released in 2022.
It is yet another impressive credit for the Australian actor, who has featured in so many popular roles to date.
Thanks to his various roles in TV and film throughout his career to date, Australian actor Ryan Corr has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million.
