They’ve created a comfortable, unisex sock-top sneaker, available in a variety of colors and kids’ sizes.

“Creating Tronus was really about liberation…Because I feel like women, and us being athletes, is just extremely difficult,” Deck shared the inspiration behind creating the Tronus brand in an interview with Just Women’s Sports. She added: “It’s a lot of ups and downs…trying to get sponsored by bigger brands.”

Instead of waiting for the opportunity to team up with someone else, Deck created the opportunity for herself.

She’s since expanded the company to include clothing and accessories.

Women’s Football

The second way Santia made history in women’s sports was by signing a multi-million-dollar contract with the Women’s Football League Association.

Deck was offered the contract after an injury brought her Olympic rugby dreams to a halt.

Tackle football became a new way for her to continue pushing herself and fulfilling her athletic passions.
