Sonya Miller was born in 1970 in the USA, but she has kept the exact date private.

While she is most famous for being the ex-wife of Master P, Sonya has had some success as a singer and songwriter and has released albums like “Tru 2 Da Game” and “Married to the Mob.”

Although Miller has not had any starring roles that we know of, she has directed and appeared in a number of films and TV shows, including Material Girls (director 2005), Weekend Mechanic (executive supervising producer, 2004), and Black Supaman (producer, 2007).

Like her finances, not much is known about Sonya’s early life, but it is believed she spent much of her childhood in New Orleans.

Sonya worked on the album “Married to the Mob” in 1993, with songs such as “No Credit,” “Gankers,” Life Ain’t Nothing But a Game.”

Sonya’s husband, Master P., was born on 29 April 1970 as Percy Robert Miller.

He is a well-known businessman, actor, basketball player, and philanthropist.

He spent much of his childhood in New Orleans, attending Booker T. Washington High School and Warren Easton High School.

Master P’s basketball prowess earned him an athletic scholarship at the University of Houston, but he soon transferred to Merritt College in Oakland, California, to finish a business administration degree.

It’s no secret what Master P. got up to after his education, as he achieved massive success in the music industry.

His debut album titled “Get Away Clean” came out in 1991, which he followed with “Mama’s Bad Boy” the following year.

His next business venture was with his wife when they created No Limit Records, but Master P. did not stop producing music.

In 1994 he released an album titled “The Ghettos Tryin to Kill Me!” which he made in collaboration with Silkk the Shocker.

Other albums released by the prolific rapper during the 1990s included “Only God Can Judge Me,” “MP da Last Don,” “Ice Cream Man,” and “99 Ways to Die.”

During the early 2000’s Master, P. kept busy in the music industry by releasing an album every few years.

His last album, titled “Empire, From the Hood to Hollywood,” was released late in 2015.

Master P, ex-husband of Sonya Miller


Sonya and Master P married in 1989 and had eight children together.

One of the children is Romeo Miller, who follows in his father’s footsteps building a rapping career of his own.

Many of the children are involved in show biz, including a reality TV show about the family and two of the boys pursuing basketballing careers.

Unfortunately, their daughter, Tytana Miller, died on May 27, 2022, due to an accidental drug overdose. She was 25 years old.

During their 24-year marriage, Sonya and Master P. ran a record store together called No Limits Records. 

The relationship eventually turned sour, with the couple going their separate ways in 2002. In May 2022, Master P was declared legally single.
