What is Tristan Jass’ net worth?
Tristan Jass is a former almost-pro basketball player, a content creator on YouTube, and an entrepreneur who has a net worth of $2 million. He inspires a following of more than 5.5 million subscribers.
In his own words, he is constantly evolving.
He creates content, he influences, he uses his platform on social media, but most of all—he says—he’s an entrepreneur.
Jass says there is so much more than meets the eye for the young basketball fan—and here’s what we found out.
Tristan Jass was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on December 9, 1999.
He’s got two brothers, whose names are Tyler and Brennan, and the trio was raised in Kenosha by their mom.
In March 2021, Jass bought her a home—something he admitted had always been a dream for him.
Girlfriend
Tristan Jass has been dating Hannah Stone since 2019, and he says that the day he reached 1 million subscribers, she was with him in a restaurant.
She was also with him when he reached 2 million. Update – the two broke up.
Jass graduated from George Nelson Tremper High School in 2017.
He had played basketball right through school, and would go on to receive a division I offer to continue playing in college—with a free-ride scholarship.
He didn’t take it—and he’s never regretted it.
Farewell To A Dream
When Jass received the much-coveted scholarship offer from a Division I school, it was a dream come true for the young basketball fanatic.
For as long as Tristan could remember, this is what he’d worked for.
When he wasn’t training, he was uploading basketball footage and showcasing his skills on YouTube.
He was doing commentary for games.
His channel was growing. And therein lay the problem.
If Tristan accepted the scholarship, the NCAA required him to shut down his social media accounts—the ones that were monetized, anyway.
That was because the NCAA prohibits students from profiting off their athletic role, name, and image while receiving funding.
Jass had a decision to make: follow his dream or take a risk on something even bigger.
He went with taking a risk, turned down the scholarship, and started focusing on YouTube full-time.
Even his dad called it: “the best decision he’s made in his life so far.”
It hasn’t been all sacrifice for Jass, though.
He’s had the good fortune to meet most of his basketball idols through his YouTube channel and the challenges he runs—like point guard Steph Curry, LA Lakers forward Anthony Davis, and iconic baller James Harden.
Health & Wellbeing
Tristan Jass is a huge advocate of healthy living—something which has always been a work in progress.
He grew up eating fast food (his favorites were chicken nuggets and Pop-Tarts), but after a health scare in 2019, he wanted to change his habits.
After the seizure he suffered before Christmas that year, he knew he had to do something—or a lot of somethings, as it turned out.
He started focusing on getting the right amount of sleep—and going to bed at an earlier time.
He changed his diet to focus on proper nutrition.
He stayed hydrated.
He noticed that once he was fueling his body properly, he had more energy and stamina, and felt better every day.
Mental health matters to the young YouTuber, too.
He tries to block out negativity—and he says that when you’re on social media as much as he is, you see that there is a lot.
He’s worked on his mindset, admitting that it’s human nature to want people to like you, but that he’s realized there’s no point.
“These people who troll you on social media—they don’t know you. So what if they don’t like you?”
Unlike most of the YouTube and TikTok influencers entertaining Gen Z kids, Jass doesn’t drink alcohol, smoke, or use drugs.
He goes to the gym, he puts in work on the court—he even does yoga every once in a while. And still, he remains a major player in the social media celebrity space.

YouTube as a Real Job
Jass isn’t surprised that YouTube’s basketball community is so popular.
As one of the biggest sports in the US, it is always entertaining—whether you’re playing on the street corner, watching it on the big screen, or heading to the gym for a game.
Why wouldn’t it also be popular on YouTube?
Tristan says that he hopes to create a point of value for his subscribers by producing high-quality content and focusing on how to improve what he does.
He likes to add “a twist,” as he puts it, and give his fans something they don’t normally expect.
He’s done that—countless times.
He’s dressed up as an old lady and pranked people at a park with his basketball skills. And roleplaying a blind grandpa has amassed him more than 65 million views and counting.
