Christian Stracke Net Worth $35 Million

What Is Christian Stracke’s Net Worth?

Christian Stracke is Pimco’s managing director, global head, and all-around corporate big wig who has a net worth of $35 million. He’s been calling the shots at major corporate institutions since his mid-20s when he was a strategist at Deutsche Bank.

Before that, he spent some time working for non-profits, too.

But none of these things are the reason you’re looking up his bio, right?

Because Christian Stracke is most well-known as the former husband of reality television debutante Sutton Stracke, who is making waves on Bravo’s hit series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

So, here’s what we know about Christian Stracke—because everyone knows you don’t get a spot on RHOBH without an ultra-wealthy spouse (or former spouse, in this case).

The Origin Story

Thibeault Christian Stracke was born in Augusta, Georgia in the 1970s.

After graduating from leading fine arts high school, John S. Davidson, in Augusta—where he first met fellow student Sutton Thurman Brown, and also where his mom taught Spanish—Thibeault packed up and headed for Chicago.

He enrolled at the University of Chicago to study political science.

From 1992 to 1994, Stracke was working in a volunteer capacity with the Peace Corps.

He taught in Oumm El Khezz, a Mauritanian town on the edge of the Sahara desert.

In his role, he helped develop techniques to prevent erosion problems in the area—through tree planting and strategic landscaping.

Meanwhile, Sutton Thurman Brown was teaching English abroad.

The pair returned home from their respective adventures, and Stracke settled into a new role—this time as financial strategist for Latin American currency at Deutsche Bank.

Sutton, who was nearing 30 at the time, had been employed as Director of Development at a local dance foundation.

The pair began dating, and got engaged in the late 90s.

They officially tied the knot on May 13, 2000—and their wedding made the New York Times the following day.

They would be married for 17 years, and welcome 3 children together—a daughter named Porter and a couple of sons named James and Phillip.

Stracke may be with global investment firm, PIMCO, now, but he’s spent a solid part of his time climbing the corporate ladder to get here.

Based in California, the senior managing director is also part of PIMCO’s executive board.

His side hustle is equally impressive.

Christian founded CXO International Group almost 5 years ago, and the angel investment fund is thriving under his guidance.

He was also ranked one of the top 100 most influential managers worldwide.

The End of an Era

In an episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton opened up to her co-stars about the way her marriage ended.

She explained that they had been separated for a little while, but she thought it was temporary—that eventually, her husband would move back into the home they bought together.

Instead, she revealed that she had a birthday party and dinner at home, and he attended the celebration.

He even gave her a cake.

The following day while Christian was on his way to catch a flight to Florida, he called her to tell her he had filed for divorce.

Sutton revealed that his exact words were: “you need to get an attorney.”

The savage move is given as the reason Sutton is often seen as emotional on the show.

The divorce came with a few benefits in the end, though.

For starters, during the full disclosure of assets, Christian’s soon-to-be-ex-wife realized that his financial handling skills were impeccable.

She admitted that she didn’t know everything about their financial position—mainly because Stracke handled their finances—and suddenly realized, “Wow, I’m rich.”

The second benefit was that Christian was able to protect his children with Sutton—a daughter and two sons—from being forced to appear on reality TV alongside their mom.

Sutton admits that Christian “was adamant they could not film with me.”

The Bravo-owned RHOBH requires cast members to commit to showing certain aspects of their lives—like their children and their children’s lives.

Christian wouldn’t give his consent to his children being on the show—and so Sutton was demoted to a “friend of” the cast.

Sutton later explained to the media that she would have liked to show more of her personal life, and hoped that—in the following seasons—she’d be able to show fans all aspects of her life, including her three kids with Stracke.
