She and her sister Rachel are the children of retired NFL quarterback—and four-time SuperBowl winner—Terry Bradshaw and his third wife, Charlotte Hopkins.

Terry had been married before—first to Melissa Babisch for a year in the 70s, and then to figure skater JoJo Starbuck up until 1983.
He married Charlotte in 1986.
While the football icon and his prominent attorney wife weren’t able to make the marriage last, they both maintain strong bonds with their girls.
Eventually, Terry would marry Tammy, his girlfriend of 15 years.
He sees Tammy’s daughter, Lacey Hester Luttrull, as one of his own daughters.
Growing up, Erin fell in love with horses.

Terry acknowledges that his daughter “didn’t win many competitions in the beginning,” but he had a much more important lesson: resilience, learning, and moving forward.

Erin continued to show paint horses, winning her first world title in 2010, and her last in 2019—both with her horse John Simon.
In 2022, she was not showing John Simon so much—but she now has his baby on the circuit.
She is also an experienced horse breeder, who owns—in conjunction with her husband and her father—25 broodmares.
She breeds her beloved John Simon with Humphrey Quarter horses.
Breeding has become another facet of the family business—outside of reality television.
The horses are bred from Terry’s Thackerville ranch—where Erin lived until she was married—and then her husband starts them as foals.
Eventually, all the horses are taken to Erin’s Aubrey ranch for evaluation and weaning.

Husband
In 2017, after several years of dating, Erin Bradshaw married cowboy and horse trainer Scott Weiss.
Weiss, who owns Scott Weiss Show Horses, and his wife felt the pressure to have kids almost immediately.
“The first question [Terry Bradshaw] asks my husband and I is, “Are you pregnant?”
According to the bubbly blonde, it’s her father’s life’s mission now to have more grandchildren—he has a granddaughter, Zurie, who is the daughter of Lacey.
In December 2021, grandpa Terry finally got his wish, when Erin and Scott welcomed Jessie Paxton Weiss into the world.
“We have done so much in five years,” Erin wrote on May 6, 2022, on Instagram. “Now we have our perfect little girl here with us.”
