FaZe Jarvis Net Worth & Real Name

FaZe Jarvis Net Worth – $5 million

How much money does FaZe Jarvis have? What is FaZe Jarvis’ real name?

Introduction

FaZe Jarvis is a young gamer from Surrey, England.

The gaming community knows him best as a Fortnite player with an impeccable aim (more on that in a minute) and an unapologetic love of trolling.

Jarvis has made headlines several times—for both positive and negative reasons—but is the young influencer after more than just fame for fame’s sake?

Here’s what we know about the teen with a 4.8 million subscriber fan-base.

The Origin Story

FaZe Jarvis was born Jarvis Khattri in Surrey, in South East England. Born on November 11, 2001, Khattri is Nepalese on his dad’s side, and his mother, Barbara, is British.

He has an older brother named Frazier Kaye, who gave Jarvis his big break on the YouTube scene, thanks to his popular FaZe Kaye channel and Call of Duty gaming group. Jarvis also has a brother called Jay.

Jarvis and his older brother Frazier are members of FaZe Clan—an esports collective that was founded by the older Khattri in 2010.

Originally, the Clan was well-known for its Call of Duty videos, although the team eventually branched out to play Fortnite, FIFA, Rainbow Six, and Counter-Strike.

Jarvis quit high school and followed his brother to Hollywood, seeking fame as a pro-gamer.

He moved in with other FaZe Clan gamers at a 10-bedroom mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

After facing the fallout of one of his many controversial moves, the young YouTuber moved back to Surrey to live with his mom.

Khattri Hits The Headlines

At the end of 2019, after several years of sharing Fortnite gameplay and commentary with his growing legion of fans, trouble was brewing for the Surrey boy.

Jarvis was banned by Epic Games—the developers behind Fortnite—for using aimbots to help him shoot. Epic has a zero-tolerance policy against cheating, with aimbot software being high on the list of cheat software.

Jarvis, who tried to defend his cheating by explaining he didn’t use it to gain a competitive advantage—meaning he didn’t use it in competitions—was devastated about the lifetime ban.

He issued a teary and emotional video and Twitter apology, admitting that he should have understood Epic’s terms and conditions better.

Most gamers applauded Epic for taking a hard line against gamers cheating and making an example of Khattri, but some—including gaming icon Ninja—felt that the ban was over the top. Regardless, Epic maintained its stance.

Jarvis’s mom, Barbara Khattri, spoke to UK media in the fallout from the ban, saying that her son had made an error but hadn’t physically hurt anyone.

She acknowledged that he was “broken” and should be forgiven. She stated at the time that the gaming industry needed to rethink how it treated people.

In Hot Water Again

Jarvis copped a bad rap again when he tried to stage a video where YouTube celebrities—like Logan Paul and James Charles—dared him to do crazy things.

Designed as a blatant attention grab, FaZe Jarvis inadvertently breached the privacy of one of his celebrity targets.

TikTok ultra-celeb Addison Rae, who has 72 million followers on the video-sharing platform, had her phone number revealed to all Jarvis’s followers as he filmed his phone screen while sending her a text message.

The unintentional doxing triggered backlash from Khattri’s higher-ups on the social media food chain—including Addison Rae’s partner Bryce Hall and TikTok finance guru Griffin Johnson.

While Hall kept his comments short and sweet, calling Jarvis “an idiot,” Griffin shared a meme mocking Jarvis over the cheating scandal.

Giving Back

It’s not all drama for FaZe Clan’s young ingénue.

While in LA, he volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission, lending a helping hand for families in need at Christmas.

He organized a giveaway, gifting one family $5,000 worth of gifts to put under their Christmas tree.

He also rallied his fan forces to join the initiative and support local LA families in need.

He explained that as a kid, his family had spent a lot of time focusing on sharing what they had with those less fortunate. He said:

“(Instead of) a typical advent calendar growing up, (we) had a calendar where on day was a gift to us, and the next was a day to give to our community.”
