His historical epic Chief of War launched on August 1, 2025, on Apple TV+. He performed as Kaʻaina, an ali’i who fights during the reunification of Hawaii. The filming for the series began in 2022 in New Zealand. “I’ve never had the opportunity to play anything like an ancestor,” said the Aquaman star.
