Biography
He was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii, as Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa.
His father, Joseph Momoa, was a painter, while his mother, Coni (née Lemke), was a photographer.
His parents divorced when he was about six months old. Later, he moved with his mother to Norwalk, Iowa.
After high school, Momoa moved back to Hawaii.

In 1999, Jason landed a role on Baywatch.
