Biography
She was born on June 19, 1963, in Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA, as Laura Anne Ingraham.
Her maternal grandparents were Polish immigrants.
Her father is a WWII veteran, while her mother worked as a waitress.
In 1981, Laura graduated from Glastonbury High School.
In 1985, Ingraham graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
In the late 80s, she worked as a speechwriter in the Ronald Reagan administration for the Domestic Policy advisor.
In 1991, Laura earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Ingraham credited Virginia Law classes with sharpening her debate skills.

From 1993 to 1996, Ingraham worked as an attorney at the Wall Street law firm Skadden Arps.
In 1996, she landed her first hosting job for MSNBC.
In 2000, Ingraham published a book titled – “The Hillary Trap: Looking For Power in All The Wrong Places.”
In April 2001, she launched her own show called “The Laura Ingraham Show.”
In 2005, Ingraham was diagnosed with breast cancer. On April 26, 2005, she underwent surgery for breast cancer.
In 2007, Ingraham joined Fox as a contributor. In the same year, Laura released her book, “Power to the People” which promoted conservative values in family life and education.
In 2008, she hosted “Just In with Laura Ingraham” for one month.

Her show, “The Ingraham Angle,” started on Fox News in October 2017. The show took over the time slot occupied by Sean Hannity.
She said in the statement: ”After a decade working at FOX News with a team of television pros, I am thrilled to be joining the primetime line-up as a host of the 10 o’clock hour.”
In 2018, Laura sold her majority stake in the website (LifeZette) to billionaire Daryl Katz.

She also said: ”It’s always unwise to seek political advice from someone who gets paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball.”
2018 Boycott
In 2018, Ingraham’s show was boycotted by 27 sponsors after she tweeted an article about David Hogg’s rejection from several colleges.
”On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland,” Laura later apologized.
By December 2018, two major advertisers had returned to sponsoring the show.
In December 2020, she signed a new multiyear deal with Fox News to continue hosting ”The Ingraham Angle.”
”It is a great privilege to host an hour each weeknight on FOX News to address the most important, most timely, and sometimes, the most hilarious moments of the day,” Laura said in the release.
In 2020, the show averaged 3.6 million viewers and 650,000 in the 25-54 demo.

Laura Ingraham is not married, but she was in a relationship with MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, former New Jersey Democratic Senator Robert Torricelli, and Dinesh D’Souza.
At some point, Ingraham and Dinesh D’Souza were engaged.
”Dinesh is simply one of the finest human beings I have ever met,” Laura wrote in a letter in 2014.
