Quincy, M.E.
Crosby’s longest run of appearances was on the show of future husband Jack Klugman: Quincy, M.E.
The show revolved around a medical examiner who would often investigate murders, doubling as, in the words of Quincy actor Jack Klugman ‘a doctor and a cop.’
Quincy was a hugely successful TV show with 141 episodes from 1976 to 1983.
Klugman, who made for an unlikely lead, was purportedly involved with Crosby during this period in an on-again off-again romance.
Crosby herself appeared in six episodes of the hit TV show.
She first appeared in a 1977 episode, “Holding Pattern,” and was simply credited as “girl.”

Crosby made two more appearances on the show in 1979.
In the episode “No Way To Treat A Flower,” she was simply credited as “bargirl.”
She then reprised her role as Peggy (but was not credited) in the episode “For The Benefit Of My Patients.”
Peggy made her final appearance in the 1981 episode “Of All Sad Words,” again reprising a past role – that of “Dee Dee.”

Husband & Children
Crosby was married to the son of Bing Crosby, Philip Crosby, twice – once in 1972, and once in 1974.
The couple had one son during this period – Philip Crosby Jr.

The marriage lasted until Klugman’s death in 2012.
