Trevor Andrew Bauer was born on January 17, 1991.
He is a former MLB (Major League Baseball) player who has played for teams such as the LA Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Indians, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He currently plays in Japan’s NPB, which is the most prestigious level of the sport in all of Japan.
Trevor plays as a pitcher and has an MLB win-loss record of 83 – 69, with 1,416 strikeouts.
Bauer signed with the Dodgers in 2021 after becoming a free agent when he left the Reds in 2020.
He was supposed to have played for 3 years, but following allegations of sexual assault, he was placed on administrative leave while the authorities investigated.
Following their investigation, he was suspended and let go in early Jan 2023. He would subsequently make his way to Japan.

Born in Hollywood, California, Bauer was interested in baseball from a young age and was mesmerized by pitchers such as Greg Maddux and John Smoltz.
Seeing their son’s passion for the sport, they paid for private pitching lessons for their son.
Bauer became obsessed with becoming the best pitcher he could be, so on top of his lessons, he would also spend his free time pitching a baseball against the wall of his local tennis club.
Bauer was not a popular child at school.
He didn’t have many friends and was often mocked, and even bullied, because of his passion for baseball, which bordered upon obsession.
He spent his summers at baseball camp in Texas, and in 2008, as a junior, he posted a 12- 0 win-loss average.
Bauer continued to struggle to socialize with others and would often clash with his teammates, one of whom was none other than future MLB player Mike Montgomery.
He would go on to play college baseball, joining the UCLA Bruins baseball team.
He elevated the team to new heights, and it was clear that he would prove to be a very valuable asset indeed.
In 2011, he set numerous junior records and even became the first UCLA player to receive the prestigious Golden Spikes Award.

In 2011, Bauer began attracting interest from pro baseball scouts.
He was signed to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012, posting a 5 – 1 record, striking out 97 batters in 82 innings.
He would go on to play for the Cleveland Indians from 2013 – 2019, picking up back injuries and often clashing with his opponents. He would sign with the Cincinnati Reds in 2019 – 2020, but as a result of the recent world events and trouble between the MLB and the Player’s Union, Bauer grew frustrated as he just wanted to play.
He would go on to leave in 2020 before joining the Dodgers, which is when his legal troubles began happening.

Don’t worry, we’ll get to the latest rumors about the wife of Trevor Bauer shortly, but first, we’re going to look at some of Bauer’s past controversies.
In 2021, the MLB announced that it was clamping down on possible pitch doctoring.
Basically, players were accused of using foreign substances such as pine resin to improve grip and enhance spin rate. Many reported that Bauer’s pitches were sticky to the touch.
After the MLB clamped down, the spin-rate on Bauer’s fastball reduced by more than 200rpm. Many believed that this was proof enough, that Bauer had been doctoring his balls, but this was never proven.
Sexual Assault Allegations

Far more seriously than pitch doctoring allegations was the fact that Trevor Bauer was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2021. She alleged that he had physically and sexually assaulted her.
Bauer denied the allegations.
The Dodgers, whom he played for at the time, placed him on leave and withdrew all of his merchandise. Due to a lack of evidence, no criminal charges were filed against him.
While he was being investigated, The Washington Post found previous court records indicating that Bauer had threatened a previous woman in 2017 and had sent her death threats.
Two more women would come forward and claim that Bauer had sexually and physically assaulted them while they were in a relationship.
Again, no criminal charges were filed, and Bauer vehemently denies the allegations.

Despite what some reports online may say, Trevor Bauer is not married. One of the most common Trevor Bauer wife rumors was that he was married to American sports agent Rachel Luba. Others believed that they were at least dating. It turns out, however, that the two are not an item and are most certainly not married.

Trevor has, in fact, stated that he enjoys the single lifestyle and that one of his rules for relationships is to not catch feelings. And another rule is that he’s “going to continue to sleep with other people.”
“I imagine if I was married at this point, I would be a very bad husband,” he also said in an interview.
Trevor Bauer’s decision to wear a wedding ring is linked to his stringent dating rules, which have made it difficult for him to maintain a girlfriend.
About his dating rules, Bauer said in a later interview:
“I feel like that’s the most fair way to handle like meeting someone new like, hey, that’s where I’m at, that’s who I am, that’s what you’re getting if you like it, great, and if not, then don’t waste your time on me just go somewhere else.”
