Kinsey was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, on September 8^th, 1991.

Very little is known about his mother or father, but he is known to have no siblings.

Kinsey was raised in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

He later recalled that he had piano lessons from the age of 5, and joked that they “picked up a radio station instead of a heartbeat” when he was still in the womb.

At the age of 3, he won a pageant called “Little Master Edgewater.”

X-Factor

Kinsey and his then-girlfriend, Sierra Deaton, appeared for auditions in The X-Factor US in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2013.

The duo played a pared-down version of the Britney Spears hit Toxic, which immediately impressed the judges.

Kinsey and Deaton made it to the final 40 contestants, and judge Simon Cowell became their mentor.
