What is Alexis Skyy’s net worth?
Alexis Skyy is a Dominican-Jamaican reality TV personality who has a net worth of $1 million. She is most well known for her appearances on the VH1 hit franchise Love & Hip Hop.
A former social media model, socialite, and wannabe music video vixen, Alexis Skyy has appeared in multiple spin-offs of the Love & Hip Hop series.
The Long Island native isn’t scared to show off her on trend physique, whether in real life or on the internet—she was once a stripper in Atlanta.
If all of that wasn’t enough to garner Alexis Skyy some public attention, she’s got one more claim to fame: she’s the former girlfriend of famed Trap Queen rapper Fetty Wap.
The Origin Story
Alexis Anastasia McFarland was born on July 14, 1994, in Long Island City, New York.
Her father was absent for most of McFarland’s childhood, but she eventually met him when she was an adult at 18 years old.
McFarland was raised by her mom and grandmother in a large and chaotic household—she has several brothers.
The family unit moved to Wyandanch, New York when she was young but came back to Long Island in her teen years.
In March 2020, Skyy wrote a long caption on her Instagram page claiming to have been a victim of human trafficking and kidnapping.
In the post, she said she had been sold “to whoever” and that, at only 15 years old, she was kidnapped by a guy 20 years older, beaten, threatened, and raped.
In the video, she said she had decided to come forward in the hopes that she could be a “role model to these young girls.”
Skyy claimed to have never told her mom, grandmother, or immediate family, but she deleted the post soon after.
Love & Hip Hop
Alexis Skyy finally broke into the mainstream entertainment industry when she joined the cast of one of the biggest VH1 shows in history: Love & Hip Hop.
Initially, she got her break as a cameo on season 5 of the hit franchise’s Atlanta spin-off, as a model for Tammy Rivera’s swimsuit brand—and then the following season alongside Jessica Dime.
It wasn’t until July of 2017 that she won a supporting cast role on the Hollywood show, alongside big names like Teairra Mari, R&B icon Keyshia Cole, and Ray J—also known as Kim Kardashian’s sex tape co-star.
On Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, Alexis chronicles her ongoing feud with Masika Kalysha—one of Fetty Wap’s baby mamas.
Fetty Wap—who has 6 kids by 5 different women—inspired the main storyline of the show’s season.
Viewers were treated to countless dramatic confrontations between the LHH women, as well as watching Alexis’s relationship with Solo Lucci fail to get off the ground.
In the show’s reunion special, Alexis announced that she was pregnant with Fetty Wap’s baby.
She gave birth to Alaiya Grace Maxwell on January 4, 2018. The baby was premature, and Fetty Wap was there to support Skyy.
In season 9 of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Alexis signs a record deal with Shotti, and—throughout 10 episodes—fans watched her deal with life as a solo parent.
The show led some viewers to question what had happened to Fetty Wap, who has always shown sincere involvement in all his kids’ lives.
All’s Fair in Love and War
Alexis Skyy may have tricked fans into thinking she had gotten one over on her nemesis, Masika Kalysha, when she joined the ranks of Fetty Wap’s baby mamas, but all was not what it seemed.
For starters, her relationship with the rapper soured before the baby was even born.
Hot on the heels of Alaiya’s birth, Fetty claimed he was not the father of Skyy’s child—a little girl who has undergone surgery for hydrocephalus in the past. Alaiya Grace underwent another surgery in March 2023. Alexis confirmed via Instagram.
After dating car salesman Brandon Medford, and then rapper Trouble in 2019, Skyy admitted in 2021 that Fetty Wap was not the father of her child at all.
As it turned out, the baby daddy was actually Brandon Medford.

A New Beginning
After the awkward ending of her relationship with superstar rapper Fetty Wap, and then Trouble in 2019, Alexis Skyy took to social media in a “third time lucky” attempt at a love life.
The reality television second string posted a video to her Instagram in January of 2022 that showed her dancing and kissing a mystery man.
Some fans were fascinated by the semi-relationship reveal, which Skyy captioned “Never settle until you find your love.”
She eventually edited the caption to a more succinct, “I love you.”
In another Instagram story hot on the heels of the first, Skyy tagged her apparent boyfriend, David Young Jr.
Young was a basketball player in high school and is a member of the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Hall of Fame in his hometown.
He claims to be a real estate investor, and he has a daughter who recently received a Division I college basketball scholarship.
