Ant Glizzy Net Worth $500,000

What is Ant Glizzy’s net worth?

Ant Glizzy has a net worth of $500,000. Ant Glizzy rose to fame with his hit rap singles, Computers Freestyle, and Having Fun.

The smart and savvy lyricist—and kid brother of Grammy-nominated Shy Glizzy—has found success with his unique sound and catchy beats.

But is there more to the man than just the music he makes?

Ant Glizzy was born in Washington, DC, on February 28, 1992.

Raised in the Sursum Corda housing project in Southeast Washington, Ant had a rough start in life.

While his mom, Barbara, was preparing for the birth of her second son, Glizzy’s dad was shot and killed a few blocks from home.

He was only 19.

The young father left behind two sons—Ant and Marquis.

Marquis—who is only 9 months older than Ant—is better known as the Grammy-nominated rapper Shy Glizzy.

Shy was named as one of the Top 10 Rappers to Watch in 2014 by Fact magazine.

Glizzy’s mom raised her kids in the Muslim faith, and both Ant and Shy were accustomed to reading the Q’uran early in life.

The boys may not have had much, but they had a tight knit family—their grandmother also lived with them growing up.

When King was just 15, his brother was sent to a juvenile detention center for committing a robbery.

Ant, alone for the first time, threw himself into music and trying to make money to provide for his family.

He would point out in later years that growing up, he could name a hundred—even a thousand—killers, but didn’t know one person that could go to the bank and withdraw a million dollars.

It was his goal to be that guy.

He has talked openly about his four closest friends—the guys he grew up with.

GQ has been his best friend since he was 6 years old, and lost his life at 26 in the same neighborhood they grew up in.

Jefe, who accompanied Ant Glizzy to GQ’s funeral, passed away a few months later.

Juice lost his life in a gang-related altercation prior to GQ and Jefe’s deaths, and Ronnie Moo is currently serving time in prison.

Amonte has claimed in interviews that he doesn’t enjoy the party scene—he prefers to focus on business.

He says that he wants to do what he wants to do, even though it makes him look like an “oddball.”

He isn’t into designer clothes, drugs, or drinking—and claims that he’d rather pay his mom’s rent and take care of his younger brother, who is currently in prison.

“I get my glory out of helping others.”

Dear Mama

Glizzy has a close relationship with his mom—to the point where he named his first album, Barbara Son, in her honor.

He says that his mother is like his best friend, and that growing up—when both his older brother, Shy, and younger brother were in and out of prison—he was the man of the house for her.

Glizzy claims that his mother suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and requires medication.

He has often shared that his biggest thrill in life is taking care of his mom, and that he would do anything for her since she gave him life and did the best she could raising him and providing for him.

Sadly, Ant doesn’t enjoy the same type of relationship with his older brother.

While he doesn’t fault either of his brothers for not being around for his mom when he was growing up, some music-related beef between Shy and Ant has meant that the two won’t collaborate on any tracks at this point.
