In 2013, Gronkowski began to appear in games for the college, taking part in 13 games in total and starting in 5. During these games, he scored 3 touchdowns and recorded 5 catches over 194 yards.

Gronkowski wasn’t drafted in the 2016 NFL season, instead going as a free agent.
He signed with the Buffalo Bills, based in the Buffalo-Niagara region of New York, in his capacity as a free agent. Glenn only appeared in one game with the team before parting ways with them.
Gronkowski went on to sign with the New England Patriots, where he was part of the practice squad for the NFL Titans.
He was released in October 2016 but was re-signed a mere 5 days later.
Gronkowski was again released and re-signed in November 2016.
He was part of the team that went to Superbowl LI, a competition in which the Patriots went all the way to the final. The Patriots won the game in overtime, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28. As part of the team, Gronkowski received his first (and to date, only) Superbowl ring.
In February 2017, the Patriots signed Gronkowski to a futures contract. The team opted to waive him in November 2017; Gronkowski has remained a free agent since then.
