He was born on October 22, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, as Jeffrey Lynn Goldblum.
His father, Harold, was a doctor, while his mother, Shirley Jane, was a radio broadcaster.
Jeff has a sister, Pamela, and two older brothers, Lee and Rick.
His brother, Rick, passed away in 1971 due to kidney failure.
”He was a great guy, and I was very close to him,” Jeff told Standard in April 2012. ”But everybody has loss in their life. We all lose everything eventually – family, looks, youth, career and relationships, even the best ones.”
