In August 2009, Felger became a co-host on ”Felger & Mazz” with Tony Massarotti.

In 2011, he published a book titled – ”Tales from the New England Patriots Sideline: A Collection of the Greatest Stories of the Team’s First 40 Years.”

In November 2017, he was suspended from NBC Sports Boston for his brash comments following the death of Roy Halladay, reported Boston. Later, Felger apologized for his controversial comments. 

”I feel bad about what I said and how I conducted myself,” Michael said when he began his show on Thursday. He continued: ”To say it was over the top and insensitive is really stating the obvious.”

mike felger comes off as an expert on everything. unfortunately he blows all that up as he frequently says on his show many times as " i don't know" . listen closely and you will hear it. both him and mazz are so negative and complain about many boston athletes. i wish i was a fly on the wall when their wives come down for sunday breakfast and says to them "you performance last night was terrible" and it better get good soon. i wonder what they would say when that happens.

yo it’s on purpose that is part of the business negativity drives callers the general managers have this down to a science in advertising they know this causing anger will generate way more calls than happy talk ever will this is an honest fact it’s an act for ratings it’s known in the industry.
