Born on January 10th, 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Rauw grew up in a musical family with his father, Raúl Ocasio being a guitarist, and his mother, María Nelly Ruiz, a backing vocalist.
From a young age, Rauw would listen to artists that his parents introduced him too, such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown.
He was always passionate about dancing and would compete in talent shows at his school during his youth.

After gaining recognition on SoundCloud, Rauw released his debut mixtape in November 2016, which was titled Punto de Equilibrio, which translates to ‘Breakeven.’
Following the release of his mixtape, he was signed by Duars Entertainment, an independent record label.
In December 2017, Rauw released his first single, ‘Toda,’ which featured Alex Rose.
The single was met with some success and peaked at 29th on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. However, it was a remix of the song featuring Cazzu, Lenny Tavárez, and Lyanno that proved to be more successful, with over 1.2 billion views on YouTube to date.
