Scheana Marie Jancan, now officially Davies and formerly Shay, was born in California on the 7th of May, 1985.
She is a US singer, actress, and TV personality who is best known for her work on the hit Bravo reality TV series Vanderpump Rules.
Scheana graduated from Bishop Amat Memorial High School in 2002 before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the highly prestigious Azusa Pacific University.
After graduating, to help make ends meet, Scheana took a job at Hooters, where she worked as a late teenager.
As a youngster, she was a keen performer and showed a keen interest in acting. She would pursue this passion as she grew older.

Scheana first began acting in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
She landed small roles on shows such as Jonas, Victorious, Greek, and 90210 of the Beverly Hills 90210 franchise.
In 2012, she landed her biggest role, where she portrayed the character Angel Tomlin in Femme Fatales.
This role helped put her on the map, and in 2013, she signed on for the Bravo reality TV show Vanderpump Rules.
She became a huge hit on the show, and during her time there, she showed a keen interest in music and even released her singles, including the dance-pop track ‘Good as Gold.’
Shay was such a hit on the show that she, along with fellow stars Ariana Maddix, Lala Kent, and Katie Maloney, won the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Award for ‘Best Reality On-Screen Team.’
Shay would go on to relocate to Vegas in 2018, where she tried treading the boards on stage, appearing in the stage show production of a show entitled ‘Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man.’
In late summer of 2023, however, she would release another single, which she called ‘Apples.’

The song was released in collaboration with an LA-based band called ‘The 27s.’
Rolling Stone would call the song ‘a bop,’ and Entertainment Weekly would refer to it as ‘kind of a banger.’
Personal Life
In 2004, it was revealed that Shay was secretly filmed undressed and subsequently found herself caught up in a lawsuit against Hooters.
From 2006 to 2009, it was revealed that Shay had been having an affair with an actor named Eddie Cibrian.
Cibrian had been married for 8 years and was also cheating on Shay and his wife with the famous singer Leann Rimes in 2008 and 2009.
Shay claims she did not know Eddie was married and believed him to be separated from his wife.
In 2014, Shay married Michael Shay after having known him for over ten years.

The couple would divorce in 2017, marrying Brock Davies in 2021. They have one child together.

Vanderpump Rules
Scheana Shay is best known for her work on Vanderpump Rules, so it’s only fitting for us to learn more about the show before we can look at her ethnicity.
Vanderpump Rules was developed to be a spinoff of the reality TV show ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’
