Wife

Amaury Guichon married his long-time girlfriend, Fiona Bergson, in 2021 after a four-year courtship.

In an interview on Mashed, Amaury states that meeting Fiona changed his life.

Fiona works behind the scenes and helps to keep Amaury grounded and focused on his craft.

Fiona is from Canada and was also a successful businesswoman before meeting Amaury.

She was the owner of Imperial Tattoo Connexion in Montreal at 21 and a freelance photographer.

She is currently the head of Amaury Guichon Pastry Academy in Las Vegas, so she is her husband’s boss.

This arrangement suits Amaury just fine, as he would rather focus on his craft and his students anyway.

Guichon can’t pinpoint one specific turning point in his life that led to his success, but he does relate an incident during his apprenticeship.

His superior recognized Amaury’s talent and urged him to apply.

Amaury says he resisted because he was very busy at the time, but his boss insisted, telling him he had the right style and charisma to be a real contender.

Eventually, Amaury consented, and as a bit of a joke, he submitted the application and was somewhat surprised when he was accepted.

Doing very well in the show opened Guichon up to a slew of new connections that eventually brought him to the US, where he would meet his wife and build his pastry school.
