Bernard Dean Net Worth $1 Million

What is Bernard Dean’s net worth?

Bernard Dean is an American film and television producer and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $1 million.

He rocketed to fame following his marriage to American actress and filmmaker Alex Martin, the daughter of actress and TV show host Whoopi Goldberg.

Bernard Dean was born on October 9, in the United States.

He is a relatively private person, so there is not a lot of information publicly available about his childhood or personal life.

Dean started off his career as an American television and film producer, which naturally exposed him to celebrities.

He became acquainted with many celebrities as well as prominent figures.

As such, he met his then-girlfriend and famous daughter of Whoopi Goldberg, Alexandra Martin.

Alex was becoming a star herself by the time she met Dean.

She made her acting debut in the film “Sister Act 2,” starring her mom as the famous character, Deloris. This was her biggest debut acting gig which opened many more opportunities for her, including a role in the films “Delta Nights,” “American Intellectuals,” “Call Me Klaus,” as well as “Strange as Angels.”

Wife & Marriage

When Alex was 20 and Dean was 25, the lovebirds decided to elope and tied the knot for the first time. But this would not be their first rodeo.

In fact, the couple married on three separate occasions throughout the 20 years.

The couple also shares two children, daughter Jerzey and son Mason.

Due to irreconcilable differences, the couple legally divorced a few years after their first wedding and went their separate ways.

A few years following their divorce, they married again, and the family reunited. Alex always had the support of her mother during these difficult times, considering the couple shared children together.

In 2011, following a second divorce, they married for the third and final time.

This time around, they had the ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Goldberg and her family were in attendance, along with many other friends and family.

When the couples were asked why they divorced so many times and reconciled with legal marriages a few times over, they never went into detail.

The most they will offer is that they love each other and they needed time apart to grow separately. In addition, they mention that all they needed was the support of their respective families, which is always what they had.

They are certainly not the couple to share their most intimate secrets with the public.

Career

With respect to Dean’s career, there is very limited information about what specific projects he worked on. However, we know that he worked in several different yet related professions.

After graduating from school, he worked as a producer in Los Angeles in his early days.

He worked on various television and movie projects. His talent didn’t go unnoticed, and shortly after landing work in the industry, he began working for the President and COO of Universal Studios.

This obviously garnered him incredible experience and connections that are always useful in the Hollywood entertainment industry.

It is unclear if he met his now-wife on the set of a film, but they certainly rubbed shoulders as they mingled in the same crowd at the time they first met.

While the couple was married, Alex landed her own primetime reality television show. “According to Alex” is an American reality show that stars his wife, and all her friends and family were raving about it, including her mom, Goldberg, who did a great job promoting the show.

The producers decided to run it as a docu-series following Alex. There was a lot of emphasis on her being the daughter of uber-famous Whoopi Goldberg. The series also touched on how Alex and Dean were now empty-nesters and how they would approach their new chapter in life.

In 2015, Alex went on “The View,” where her mom was a full-time host, and used the platform to promote her new show. She explained in further detail what fans could expect.

She also talked about how the producers strategically planned to make her show different from all the other American reality shows that emphasize the cast hating one another.

I just think it’s different because we like each other. And we’re not about back fighting and b*tch slapping and ‘I hate you.’ It’s not that kind of salacious kind of show. It’s a real reality show with real friendship and real love.”

She went on to say, “The show is about two women starting life all over again. It’s a new beginning for us; our kids are now grown, and we have husbands. It’s a coming-of-age kind of thing because you can always become of age at any age.”

The reality show only lasted one season, and a few scenes included Dean. Aside from his minor roles in his wife’s reality show in 2015, the public has not seen him in any other projects.

Since he is a trained producer, he would be working quietly behind the scenes in the studio.
