Brad Mondo Net Worth 2024 | Boyfriend

What is Brad Mondo’s net worth? Is Brad Mondo dating anyone?

Introduction

Brad Mondo is an American hairstylist, entrepreneur, and YouTuber.

He has more than 7.68 million subscribers on YouTube, where he regularly uploads comedic videos of him reacting to various hair fails.

Mondo also has his own range of hair care products – XMONDO – and often provides hair makeovers to other social media influencers on his channel.

The Origin Story

Brad Gesimondo was born on October 28, 1994, in Franklin, Massachusetts.

He has an older brother, Eric, who has appeared in several of his YouTube videos, sparking controversy as some of his fans accused them of pretending to be twins.

Mondo first got into hairdressing thanks to his father, who runs his own business as a stylist. After flirting with the idea of getting into hairstyling himself, Brad said: “At age 22, I took it seriously and said ‘I’m going to make this my career,’ and I did!”

Boyfriend

Brad Mondo is gay, although he hasn’t publicly disclosed whether or not he’s currently in a relationship.  He said that he knew he was gay from a young age, and he came out when he was in a relationship with a girl.

During high school, he felt much more comfortable with his sexual orientation, and this gave him the confidence to come out of his shell.

That being said, he was ‘outed’ by a boy he was interested in at the time, which was really hard for him to deal with.

He documented all of this on his YouTube channel in a video entitled My Coming Out Story

He recalls: “I was not hiding it. I really was not. I just really didn’t know like how to say I was gay without it being a big deal. I didn’t want a whole coming out thing. It didn’t seem like a big thing to me.”

So, how much is Brad Mondo worth?

As a successful hairstylist and YouTuber, Brad Mondo has accumulated most of his net worth from his online endeavors, as well as paying clients.

Although he is now a YouTube superstar, his career had humble beginnings, working as a trainee in his dad’s business.

“I grew up in the salon my dad owned, and I would play around with the mannequin heads all day every day,” Mondo told Insider in August 2020. He added: ”That’s still what I do to this day, so it’s amusing. I’d also look through all the old ‘90s hairstyling books, check out all the styles, and try to replicate them.”

He joined YouTube in 2015, where he started uploading videos of hair dying gone wrong.

After attracting a wide audience to his videos, he branched out and diversified his content to include a broad range of hair styling tips, guidance, and discussions.

His YouTube channel is incredibly popular, and he has more than 8.2 million subscribers.

He has racked up 1.7 billion views of his videos, which translates to at least $5.1 million in ad revenue from the platform. But given that he also often promotes various styling brands in his content, he has earned significantly more from his online endorsements.

He is even known to have worked with Calvin Klein when he was younger.

While lots of his videos regularly receive millions of views, his ‘Hairdresser Reacts’ content is typically the most viewed among his audience.

For instance, his most-watched videos are Hairdresser Reacts to Jojo Siwa Ruining Her Hair for 11 Minutes Straight (22 million), Hairdresser Reacts to America’s Next Top Model Makeovers S.24 (21 million), and Hairdresser Reacts to DIY Box Dye Ombre Fails (18 million).

While his fans clearly love his comedic reaction to various hairdressing fails, his videos that see him provide makeovers to well-known celebrities are also popular, and he has featured the likes of  TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio on his channel.

He has also provided makeovers to Shay Mitchell and Vanessa Hudgens, which have proved extremely popular on YouTube.

In addition to Mondo’s success as a YouTuber, he also runs a business as a hairstylist and retails a broad range of hair care products via his XMONDO brand.

Launched in 2019, XMONDO retails a broad range of hair products, including conditioners, shampoos, and colors.

He also retails haircare bundles, which are extremely popular with his YouTube followers, as he often creates content in which he uses his own products.

Mondo’s retail sales contribute significantly to his net worth, and he promotes his brand on his Instagram page.

Therefore, Brad Mondo has an estimated net worth of $4 million.
