Chinese Kitty Net Worth – $2 million

What is Chinese Kitty’s net worth? Who are Chinese Kitty’s parents?

Introduction

Chinese Kitty first hit our collective consciousness when she appeared on Love & Hip Hop Miami back in 2018.

Since then, the outgoing model slash rapper has released a debut album, built up a massive social media presence—she’s got close to 3.8 million Instagram followers—and even had her name mentioned in another rapper’s hit single.

But who is Chinese Kitty, and what’s behind her rapid rise to stardom?

Read on to find out.

The Origin Story

Taylor Hing was born on January 18, 1995, in Queens, New York.

Of African Chinese and Guyanese descent, Taylor is the daughter of Chadron Moore—more well known as legendary hip hop producer Nitti—and Nikhol Hing—also better known by her alter-ego: Chinese Nicky.

Taylor’s stage name was inspired by her mom’s, and she seems to have honed her ability to market herself from her mother, too.

Both Chinese Kitty and Chinese Nicky have large fanbases, and it was through Nikhol that Taylor was able to score a spot on the Love & Hip Hop television franchise.

Taylor has seven siblings—Devon, Macayo, Tyrique, Kyoni, Kamerin, Jared, and Nikholas.

She also has a son, who she welcomed to the world in 2016—his name is Ashton and he features on his mother’s Instagram channel from time to time.

Chinese Kitty is a solo mom who doesn’t talk publicly about her son’s father.

Fans love to speculate on who Ashton’s father might be, but so far the young mom is keeping this area of her life to herself.

Chinese Kitty credits her own mother with helping her to raise her son, and for the advice she gives, since Nikhol herself is a mom of 8.

Born To Do It

While Taylor Hing may have only recently dropped her debut album—2021’s SMD—she’s had one foot in the rap industry’s door since she was a kid.

Growing up, both Chinese Kitty’s parents were involved in the rap game in some way.

Her father, Nitti, is a music producer who worked with major names like TI, David Banner, Yung Joc, and Jermaine Dupri.

Her mom was, at the time, a stylist and editor at The Source magazine—a magazine that was once known for being the word on the street in the hip hop world.

She was so immersed in that world that, in a 2021 interview, she reminisced about going to TI’s daughter’s birthday party when she was 10. She said that even then, she knew she wanted to be famous.

You Better Work

Chinese Kitty took her time getting on the right track, working as a bartender and waitress, and eventually found motivation in Cardi B.’s stratospheric rise to the top.

Now a young mom, Kitty decided she needed to seize her opportunities before they passed her by.

She explained in an interview that she was “so fed up with nightlife.” The young beauty had appeared on Love & Hip Hop alongside her mother the previous year, and had also forged a connection with a talent manager through her job.

She told him she wanted to do music and he set things in motion to help her achieve her goals.

She dropped her first single, Kitty Walk, in 2018, followed by a cameo on Young MA’s Thotbox in 2019.

She followed this up with her own mixtape, Kitty Bandz, that same year, and earned some positive critique—and a spot at the Rolling Loud hip hop music festival.

Chinese Kitty was hooked. She took those early successes and ran with them, getting to work on her SMD album.

When asked why she chose the chaotic world of celebrity and entertainment, Chinese Kitty was her usual honest self.

Despite the opportunities available, and the other lifestyles she could have chosen, she said that being around “the glitz and the glam [felt like] my personality is that and I felt like I wanted that and needed that.”

NBA YoungBoy and That Diss Track

NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk have been beefing for a while now.

Following Lil Durk’s AHHH HA diss track, NBA clapped back with I Hate YoungBoy.

In it, he disses several well-known names, and then he references Chinese Kitty.

While it wasn’t a diss, it did leave fans of the gorgeous young rap starlet confused. The lyrics—“Chinese Kitty don’t wanna be my girl, she like them folks”—soon had fans jumping to Kitty’s defense.

Chinese Kitty – Net Worth

So, how much is Chinese Kitty worth? Taylor earned most of her wealth from appearing on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, concerts, brand deals via Instagram, subscriptions on OnlyFans, streaming on Spotify, and selling copies of her albums (SMD and Kitty Bandz). “I’m a mom, a female rapper, an entrepreneur, a young boss … and I’m living my life,” she told The Knockturnal. Therefore, Chinese Kitty has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
