She attended the prestigious Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.

She also trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she studied and practiced dance and jazz.

In 2018, Cynthia Addai-Robinson started dating director Thomas Hefferon. After dating for several years, the pair tied the knot in the summer of 2020.

Although both were born in the UK, the couple now lives in Los Angeles, California, which is important for their careers. 

It’s not clear whether or not they have any children together, but Thomas regularly shares snaps on his Instagram account of the pair together.

So, how much is Cynthia Addai-Robinson worth?

Best known for her roles in many small-screen productions, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, has appeared in many prominent TV shows throughout her career, most notably the American series Spartacus.

As such, she has made most of her money as a result of her roles on TV.

She started her career in 2002 when she appeared in an episode of The Education of Max Bickford.

This credited role saw Addai-Robinson net various small roles on bigger shows in the following years, with appearances on the likes of CSI: Miami and Law & Order. 

It wasn’t until 2009 that Addai-Robinson landed her first recurring TV show, featuring as Debbie in the ABC drama FlashForward.

While making a name for herself on the ABC network, Addai-Robinson also secured a role in the independent film Misississipi Dammed, playing Milena in Tina Mabry’s critically acclaimed production.

That being said, she managed to break onto the big screen by 2011, landing a role in the movie Colombiana. 

Her big break came the following year when she landed the role of Naevia in the second season of Spartacus: Vengeance.

In an interview at Comic-Con in 2012, when she was reflecting on her appearance in Spartacus, she said:

“It’s hard to be a bad-ass chick, let me tell you! When I first got hired, I didn’t know just how extensive the fight training was going to be. It was quite a surprise to me because I hoped I would be able to do all the things they were asking me to do.”

When asked about the training boot camp that actors are required to complete, she said:

“Yeah, it was intense. It was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in terms of just getting through the day.”

Anyone who has tuned into Spartacus will agree that her training was undoubtedly worth it, and she has nailed her character! 

After appearing in Spartacus for two seasons, Addai-Robinson continued with her work on TV, landing a role as Bonnie in The Vampire Diaries in 2013, followed by her portrayal of Emily West in Texas Rising the following year. 

The show was broadcast on the History Channel and received rave reviews, landing the actress a nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series by Women’s Image Network.

This period of her career was formative, as Addai-Robinson took on new and varied roles in TV and film, offering her more opportunities to refine her credentials.

It led to a high-profile role alongside Ben Affleck in The Accountant on the big screen in 2015, followed by the lead role in Shooter, where she took over from Emily Rios on the show. She has also appeared in Chicago Med, Stumptown, and Always & 4Ever.
