Kennedy Cymone Net Worth – $1.5 million
What is Kennedy Cymone’s net worth?
Introduction
Kennedy Cymone has amassed almost 2 million YouTube subscribers, 102 million views across her channel, and 1.6 million Instagram followers.
All by doing what she does so well: looking good.
Star of her own self-titled YouTube channel, the African American beauty influencer has teamed up with Savage and Fenty Beauty for ultra-successful collaborations.
The Origin Story
Kennedy Cymone Knight was born on November 29, 1998.
Her parents, although they were both young—and her mother looks young enough to be her sister—raised Kennedy right.
They were strict, and expected to know where she would be and who she would be with.
Raised in North Carolina, Kennedy Cymone also has a younger brother named Korbin Chase.
In 2011, Kennedy Cymone joined YouTube, although the future influencer wouldn’t get around to posting her first video until May 2012.
She has an on-off relationship with rap sensation DDG, who also has a YouTube channel with a major following.
The pair are currently not together.
Career
When Kennedy Cymone first joined YouTube, she had no plans to make money from it.
She just liked having fun and performing in front of an audience, she recently revealed.
Early on, her uploads were mostly lip-syncing videos and comedy out-takes—something that she’d go on to embrace when Tik Tok rose to fame in the US.
From there, the young teen began uploading outfit of the day videos, outfit hauls, and DIY tips.
In 2014 she rebranded her channel, and began to focus on the makeup and beauty tutorials she’d later become famous for.
As her popularity on the video streaming platform grew, so did her influence over viewers. And so, logically, the collaboration offers started to roll in.
Knight partnered with StyleHaul in 2014, and was also named as a nominee at the Teen Vogue NYX Face Awards that same year.
She placed #12 in the rankings.
With the recognition came the money, and in 2017, at just 19 years old, Kennedy Cymone Knight made the big move away from her close-knit family to LA, and launched her first business venture: KCK Lashes.
In a 2020 interview, Kennedy Cymone stated that the things she was most proud of achieving were:
- Being able to help her family;
- Living in LA, in her own place, with her own car;
- Being able to afford the things she wants.

Boyfriend
In 2017, fully ensconced in the LA party scene, Kennedy Cymone met PontiacMadeDDG—an up-and-coming YouTube music artist. The pair began dating almost immediately.
DDG—whose full name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Junior—is originally from Pontiac, Michigan.
His YouTube channel, PontiacMadeDDG, has been active since his days at Central Michigan University.
The social media star had a strong academic background—even graduating as class valedictorian from International Tech Academy.
He gave that all up when he began seeing major success with his YouTube channel—at one point earning up to $30,000 per month from his video uploads.
He signed with Epic Records—a subsidiary of Sony—in 2018.
As if that wasn’t enough of a coup for 2018, DDG went one step further and proposed to Kennedy Cymone that same year.
The pair broke up a few months later—one of many break-ups they would go through.

DDG posted a video to his many followers to announce the July 2018 break-up, explaining that Kennedy didn’t appreciate him or everything he did for her, and that he felt great relief that the relationship was over.
He claimed to have had an epiphany about how unhappy he was, stating that he wanted to have fun.
He also offered advice to his many followers that they don’t force themselves to be with someone who can’t compromise, because life is too short.
He wound up the video by saying “Kennedy, if you’re watching this: I’m gone. Usually, I chase your (expletive) but I’m done.”
The pair reunited shortly after, and broke up again in November 2019—with both parties claiming that this time, it was for good.
Kennedy Cymone stated in an interview that she’d moved on, and had dated a few guys—but that she was chilling and enjoying her single life. “I’m not pressed for a relationship,” she explained, “If it comes, it comes. If it happens, it happens.”
