James Redford, a filmmaker and activist, passed away in October 2020 following a long battle with liver cancer for over 30 years. He was 58.
In 2005, James and Robert co-founded the Redford Center, a nonprofit company focused on environmental filmmaking. James also made documentary films, including The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia. His directorial debut came in 2003 with the movie Spin.
