Biography

He was born on February 19, 1980, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, USA.

Furtick received a degree in communication from North Greenville University. Later, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In 2006, Steven founded Elevation Church, based in Charlotte, NC, with just 14 members.

The first service was held on February 5, 2006.
