Since all the characters were established and the cast had built a family-life relationship, she felt like an outsider for the first little while, as she explained during an interview:
“I joined, and I was, you know, it’s like your first day of school. You’re a little nervous and then getting to know the cast and getting to know all the fans and everybody. It’s just, it’s been a really lovely experience.”
She went on the explain, “You’re like the new kid, you’re like ‘like me.’ And there’s always gonna be that element. And when I came in at the end of season four I wasn’t sure if I was staying or what was happening, so there was a little fewer nerves at that point. But then when I got to know everybody, and I got to see how amazing everyone was, well then I wanted to stay.”
