Trainwreckstv Net Worth – $5 million

What is Trainwreckstv’s net worth? Also, who is Trainwreckstv’s girlfriend?

Introduction

Trainwreckstv is an Iranian American Twitch streamer, most well-known for his gameplay across Halo, World of Warcraft, and Call of Duty.

The entertaining, sometimes outspoken, highly analytical gamer has a following of 2.1 million on Twitch.

But what is there to know about the gamer with the big-picture outlook and the even bigger mouth?

Let’s find out!

The Origin Story

Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam was born on December 20, 1990, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Tyler’s parents, who are both of Iranian descent, are both engineers in the US, and Tyler has talked about the pressure he was under to fall in line with the typical Iranian immigrants’ dream: become a lawyer or a doctor and do something with your life.

Tyler lived the dream, being enrolled in one of the top public high schools in the US, then going on to college to study for a double degree.

He attended  Chaparral High School—the Scottsdale, Arizona, public school that once was the stomping ground of Cougar Town actress Busy Phillips and Brianna and Nicole Garcia (collectively known as WWE’s Bella Twins.

While he was in high school, the avid fitness junkie played soccer—something he’d been doing since he was five years old.

Four years on the Chaparral varsity team led to Niknam playing for the Arizona Olympic Development Program—the path young Olympians take on their journey to the Olympics. It wasn’t meant to be for the young student, and he eventually moved on to college.

Niknam graduated from the university with a BA in analytic philosophy and a BS in Biochemistry.

With a love of learning, bodybuilding, and soccer, Tyler could have taken one of many paths.

Instead, he followed his love of video games.

Niknam was always into gaming. He was a huge fan of Diablo II—a hack-and-slash RPG released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000 for PC.

He and a friend used to play the game relentlessly, and when they discovered Twitch, they streamed their antics there.

Eventually, the pair moved to Austin, Texas, and thanks to some savvy collaborations and a quick sense of humor, the pair were soon dominating the Twitch streaming platform.

Tyler’s gaming buddy didn’t stick with the platform, so Niknam went it alone—giving himself the moniker Trainwreckstv and steadily building a niche following.

He’s since branched out to Dota Auto Chess, League of Legends, and the Twitch feature Just Chatting—which is essentially a real-life stream where he communicates with fans and surfs the internet looking for memes.

He hosts his own podcast via Twitch—a collaboration with other popular gamers—and also spends a little time playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The game allows 100 players to parachute their avatars onto an island. Over time, the island shrinks, forcing the players into a last man standing situation.
