The former boxer also said it crushed him to have his oldest daughter tell him,”Kill yourself. You embarrass us.” He added: ”All I could say was, ‘You’re right.’ and threw the phone down.”
”My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger,” Yusaf said in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mack continued: ”I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I’m in the ring fighting.”
On November 5, 2015, Mack admitted to being gay during an exclusive interview with FOX 29’s Quincy Harris. In his words: ”I’m gay. I’m tired of holding it in, it is what it is. I live my life. I’m gay.”
”I want to say sorry to my children and my ex-fiancé, I am so sorry that I was a coward and hid a huge part of my life from you all,” Mack said in another interview.
He also issued an apology to the company that produced the film: ”I have never spoken negatively about the company that produced the film, although the claim to have been given a drug by someone during set was a lie.”
